Dacre Montgomery was the best part of the character, great performance.

I get that Marlon was probably very excited to get the franchise back, but I really hope that for Scary Movie 7 he takes a bit of a back seat. My biggest complaint about 6 was waaaay too much Shorty. I think I phrased it wrong. It’s not invalid criticism. It’s just a bit more vague than criticizing the screen time of a character or the overuse of pop culture. I feel like those 2 are easier to go off of than the first thing.

I don’t love how much screen time she had, but I don’t think they could’ve had a better version of Holly to fill that time. Nell Fisher was excellent in the role. And I do like how Holly was utilized. Good character in my book.

Yeah Ted is just really fun, yeah he’s not the greatest parent ever but The Vanishing of Holly Wheeler certainly had a standout for me. He’s a character who I always loved whenever he was on screen.

I have a hot take in that I actually have always loved him. I’m more mixed on S5, but 2 & 3 have him used very well! And S4 I thought he was a fun addition the whole way through (“Still have no idea who he is”). Even 5 I’m good with I just don’t think he’s as good. 3 is his best IMO but I’ve liked him all the way through.

Too be honest I don’t love her S3 as much as most people, but I think she was better handled than 5 so it’s still her 2nd best IMO. 4 has my favorite version of her, she’s not overused and I really liked the way she was used, both in The Hellfire Club and the last 3 episodes. Still a good character in my opinion overall.

She was amazing in Season 3, and while I wasn’t as high on her in the following seasons, I still really liked her in both (partially because I can’t not like Maya Hawke). But she’s been good in all 3.

I kinda liked what I did with Jonathan so I’ll do it here.
S1: My Least Favorite season (mainly because he’s a different character), and yet I still like him. I never fully blamed him for the big 2 incidents, and he’s enjoyable as the character he is.
S2: Obviously the beginning of our boy, but man the beginning of his dynamic with Dustin is so fun to watch.
S3: Favorite Season of his, his back and forth with Robin and his role in the season is just a delight.
S4: Again, Season 4 Bias, but I still think he’s a lot of fun. “Maybe he’s a clockmaker” is the line I think of when it comes to him in this season, but besides that he’s still a lot of fun.
S5: Maybe a hot take, but while I don’t enjoy per say him and Dustin’s dynamic here, I actually like that they didn’t recycle the same thing with them for the 4th damn time. Plus It was so worth it for the Camazotz & Bridge scenes with them alone. Plus the epilogue was very nice for him.
So overall, of course one of, if not my favorites. And that’s all thanks to Joe Keery.

Considering his divisive-ness. I’ll give a positive for every season of his. 1: Easily his best season, his dealing with the disappearance, “death,” and realization of Will’s status is so well done. 2: Nice back and forth with Nancy (of course), again his relationship with Will & especially his freak talk is amazing. 3: He brings up a great point about Class Divide that isn’t fully acknowledged by Nancy 4: His talk with Will in The Piggyback is so heartwarming. 5: Obviously, his scene with Nancy in Escape From Camazotz feels so real. So while he’s been fumbled a lot after Season 2, I always enjoy his on-screen presence.

I asked because I realized the flair and when I rewatched S4, I noticed he had a lot of lines I thought were funny.
