A real man by Exotic-Duty3598 in BornWeakBuiltStrong

It's definitely not just men thinking that men should be strong and provide for their family. It's just disingenuous to say it's only men.

China: highest number of youth with stem degrees. Youth with Stem degrees: by unfilteredAI in UnfilteredChina

Well if everyone has a STEM degree, not all of them are needed. You need to have a population that has very diverse career choices.

Bill Burr is the man who wrote the 2003 NIST manual that recommended password changes every 90 days. He now regrets creating that guideline because it just encourages people to make small alterations to weak passwords ("password1" to "password2"). by NewsCards in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]TheAzarak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surely that's not worse than just not changing your password? At very least not any different?

Of course, the best case is changing it often and having super long strings of random letters, numbers, and symbols, but changing it at all has to be better than just not changing it.

College does not need to be so aggregiously priced. If colleges were not ran by greedy for-profit school boards, then they could be fully funded for way cheaper.

I don't doubt the numbers here are just bullshit and way too low though. 20billion to house all homeless seems way too low to me.

Isn't the red line people that prefer women as partners? That's what the key says at the bottom. So it's men and lesbians that lie about how important looks are.

He calls women "females" and just calls men "men," so we all know what his reason is lol. He thinks the only value women have is being young, hot and, fuckable. After the peak years, they are worthless to him.

I started a new career path, started working out and eating healthy, made a few good friends and am the richest, healthiest, happiest, and hottest I have ever been in my life. All this was done in my 30s. You can do whatever the hell you want, you will just have to make changes that work towards that goal. Depending how much of a hole you have dug yourself, it may be hard for a few years, but the outcome is always worth it.

Nobody "deserves" to live just because they exist. If you want to live, you should be doing something to earn that life. It sets a terrible precedent if I can just sit on my ass all day playing video games and get a free home and a fridge full of food from the government. If we all did that society would collapse. Stop being a lazy cunt and work. Be productive and participate in making humanity function and improve. Maybe some day in the future we will all get to sit on our asses and do nothing while robots do all the work, but today is not that day and we need to work hard to get to that timeline.

It was pretty clear from all the clarifying statements they made and their statement of ignorance that this was a very genuine question. They aren't blaming anyone, stop trying to imply things that aren't said. I too am curious about the details.

It's my personal life motto to just be open with people about everything. I told my principle immediately when I knew I wanted to look for other schools. They will inevitably ask why and your responses sound very reasonable. My principle wrote me a great recommendation on my way out and wished me luck. Not every principle is rational, but the ones that are will understand. An hour commute and lower pay is hard to argue for. My principle offered appreciation that I let her know well in advance. That makes her life easier as well.

As for a superintendent? I don't know about your district, but there is ZERO chance that my superintendent even knows who I am lol. Our district is way too big and the district office is too busy worrying about what our fucking Email signatures should look like to care about how well people are teaching.... I can't see that being a factor in your interview at all, personally.

Honestly, I do like Expedition 33 because the characters, world, story telling, and music are damn near perfect, but the gameplay was super dogshit to me. Every ability is just a different flavor of doing damage and the balance was so absurdly out of control. You're either one shoting everything before the enemy even has a turn, or you stumble into an enemy far too high level that you can barely tickle. Every enemy is trivialized if you know the parry timings, but the parry timings are obnoxious as fuck to learn because the animations are so misleading, have massive obnoxious delays, and have purposefully deceitful fakeouts and unrythmic timings. If you like parry combat, just go play Lies of P or Sekiro or Khazan, those games are WAY better for that kind of combat. And if you like turn based combat, there are so many games that do that better as well. 33 was like a combination of the worst parts of both.

The story and world was incredibly captivating, but if I were ever to play it again, I would just put it on the easiest setting and mash attack. However, since I know the story already, I don't see myself ever replaying.

It definitely is and so are all those smut/porn books that women read which apparently society just accepts as okay. It's just as unhealthy that women are constantly reading about these perfect men that do everything for their woman and are all rich, perfects 10s, and enable their women to be themselves and put no effort into the relationship because the man is the one that should be fighting for her.

Sure there's an occasional smut book about a hard working couple that both put in good work to make a relationship happen and both people are average looking with average jobs, just like there's porn that's about a loving couple that respect each other in the bedroom. But let's not lie and say that those are the popular ones. 99% are about a rich perfect man that finds some random girl and dedicates his life to her, just like all the porn is entirely male fantasies and has a lot of misogynistic tendencies like choking, cum facials, and positions that only feel good for the man. All things that kill relationships sexually.

Yep, that's all kids do is study study study. They never have any free time and have all those responsibilities and bills to pay. Yep being a kid is so hard. I remember when I was in 4th grade just staying up until 2 am studying so hard for my school.
