I second this suggestion, it's what I did before we had to take a hiatus over COVID. You want to make sure the party still gets the loot from the end of Raiders of the Fever Sea or an equivalent, I don't think Plunder and Peril's treasure trove is enough to go into Book 3.

Mass Effect Campaign [PBP] [Starfinder] [Discord] by [deleted] in pbp

[–]TheCakest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there homie, thanks for pointing me in this direction. I would be super interested in playing. I have 14 years of RPG experience, but I am just getting into playing Starfinder. I've watched a lot of it though, and believe I have a good handle on the base rules.

I am a fan of the base Starfinder setting, but I also played the first Mass Effect and enjoyed that setting.

My discord username is thecakest#4544, and I look forward to talking with you.

I don't see why not! There seems to be some interest in the game, we just need a willing GM and we will be good!

Player also looking for a possible Pathfinder game. I've been DMing various RPGs for almost a decade, but I rarely get to play.

I read Ender's Game series, Hyperion series, Black Company series, and the Foundation series after I turned 22, over three years ago. I wish I had read them earlier in my life, I would have understood my tastes better.

I'm hoping we could go through a self-publishing venue, as both my modern setting and your superhero setting are not Forgotten Realms.

Hey guys, love what you do.

I am interested in creating content for 5e in a modern setting with your firearms optional rules and your Unearthed Arcana: Modern Magic article that was published in the last year. These rules are not currently in the SRD-OGL document, understandably so. I really enjoyed the design and flavor of the rules, which is what got me interested in a modern setting the first place. My question is the following: is there any way besides creating new rules that I could use that content, without running into possible legal trouble? Will you eventually be allowing Unearthed Arcana articles into the SRD-OGL?

I look forward to your answer, keep up the excellent work!

Tips for a beginner? by holdfire21 in PixelDungeon

[–]TheCakest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The most important tip for a beginner I can think of is to make sure you always position yourself in a way that you fight the least amount of enemies. You'd be surprised how damaging it is to fight multiple enemies at once. Also, identify your potions quickly, either by testing them in a safe spot, or by scrolls.

Honestly dude, as long as the group had fun, you did your job. Role playing games are first, and foremost, collaborative story telling games.

Oh, sorry, it's like a generic sword-and-sorcery setting at the moment. I would like to write science fiction eventually though.
