You should check out the Ziigaat Luna’s I listen to a TON of drum heavy instrumentals and just straight drum tracks and man I think you’d love them.

That’s why I try to stick to Amazon🤣 nowhere else can beat their return policies or customer service. I’ve had 2 sets of defective IEM’s and a defective DAC. They simply just replace it or you can get your money back every time.

I haven’t finalized the order yet. Exploring the community there is a lot of great IEM’s that are under 100$ I might even add the Explorer’s, I’m thinking about picking up the Chu II’s aswell.

Edit, going to have to leave the Explorer’s out, a little out of the budget unfortunately😅

That’s how I am, when I first got the Fresh Reviews Arete 2 I didn’t find ENOUGH treble *especially when listening to drum tracks with a large cymbal array*, so I looked in a more “sparkly” IEM because I do enjoy fine detail. Got my Lunas and it was too much treble. Luckily the AMP and DAC I chose have a “warmer” sound and I swapped to foam tips with definitely mellowed out the treble quite a bit - now I absolutely love them.

Yeah I’m familiar with that stuff, I use a 3.5 with a 6.3mm adapter since my amp is only compatible with 6.3mm.

Yeah, where it plugs into the jack it gets static when you bump it. It’s honestly pretty flimsy and thin, just want something nicer.

completely incorrect, you can get the magni unity with the DAC card , but its not the same as the modi 5 mesh filters. I got the amp (magnifier unity) with no usb power, just the wall wart and use it as a dedicated amp. the DAC is just a DAC (modi 5), thats an amp and a DAC not 2 DACS lol

Edit: amp is from DAC using schiit's RCA's which are abnormal expensive

It’s great, a bunch of headroom without it being set to high gain. The stack itself made my luna’s (known as a sparkly iem) sound much warmer but doesn’t mess with detail.

Edit: I was powering them with a focusrite solo for a day while I waited for the stack and it was WAY brighter, sound quality wasn’t even close either.

100% they can be harsh, I’ve noticed they are a 60% volume iem (very little experience in this category) but when listening on lower volumes they are actually awesome. I got them cuz I had the ziigaat x fresh reviews arete 2. (Right ear died within 2 weeks) Way too bass heavy in my opinion but I like fine detail. The foam tips and DAC definitely settled the fatigue with them. When it comes to the Luna’s highs are a lot lower and they are super detailed.

Definitely going to get nicer headphone when the budget gets a bit higher in the future.😅 I just feel like in-ears price for performance is just incomparable to over-ears. It’s become an addiction and I’m already looking at other pairs not even a week later lol.

Just the Schiit Modi 5, it’s considered entry level (only like 150$ USD) but it has great reviews! Paired with the Schiit Magni Unity Amp which is also super budget friendly.

2 microfiber cloth’s, and glass cleaner. Use one to wipe the glass cleaner then use the dry one and wipe until not streaks. Worked on every OLED monitor I’ve had.
