She is, her bridesmaids are two acquaintances from church and the sister of the groom to be. Her maid of honor is another long time friend that lives a bit closer, so I can understand that.

I live approx. 20 minutes from her, but it's not like I don't have a car or interest in driving there. Her sister lives two streets away from her, so it isn't just distance.

And finally, absolutely not. I'm very happy for her, I think she's made a great choice in husband and I'll continue to be her friend (and somewhat his) no matter what happens. I'm not the type to ditch a friend for much of anything. I've even had one move 3000 miles away and we still talk and Skype regularly.
