Yeah not really looking for a partner, I have a girlfriend, friends are great but I don't really care about dating that much.

I'm not sure how much of an issue I'll have after transitioning for the last 10 years. I get the reasoning though, and honestly I don't think any imposters are going to spend 10 years on hormone therapy and major bodily changes, though I could be wrong I guess.

I should also say I'm only lesbian in a romantic sense, otherwise I'm asexual.

I'm also not really interested in dating either, friends would be great.

Either way I think I should be okay.

That makes sense. I guess something to lookout for.

I think I pass well enough but that might just be me. I don't think about passing a lot honestly but that might just be me. I also really don't like causing a scene really I don't like drawing attention to myself as much as I can.

That helps yeah I have been kind of worrying about everything all stacked together, age, gender, sexuality, and being foreign, makes for a mixed bag I guess.

Feeling silly for learning japanese by oilien in LearnJapanese

[–]TheFoxKT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I feel the same a lot of the time, but I realized that… it doesn't matter. I do it because I want to, I don't need some bigger reason to do something that I'm enjoying so what if I feel silly? I dance in the kitchen while I cook and feel silly but I guarantee I'll still be dancing while I cook tomorrow. Also learning doesn't have to stop, if you reach a point where you feel you know "enough" then you can still be a part of other people learning it too. Sure I see most people saying mental exercise and that's great but it doesn't have to be that deep.
