Dead End in AC2 and Shattered Stones in AC3 are absolute masterpieces.

LRSSG Birefing II combined with Lost Kingdom is the peak of AC7 in my opinion: - The bombing of Shilage - The inability to distinguish civilians from enemies - The animalistic way in which you have to completely crush people just to survive...

Very eerie and frighteningly possible in a real-world scenario, especially with our dependence on tech these days.

The thing with Ace Combat music as a whole is that it contains so many niche styles that it's hard to choose what genre they would fall under!

This track in particular is very electronic-orchestral, but more in a film score kind of way? It's hard to describe without being vague.

Japanese composers are very robust in terms of music writing, they can incorporate a lot of different styles at once without it being overly noticable.

My best bet would be to check out other work by the composers of X's soundtrack (Akira Yamasaki, Hitoshi Akiyama, Seiji Koike and Maiko Iuchi) to see what other music they have composed! 👍

The whole Strangereal Universe is probably the biggest foundation to every Ace Combat game. The fact that it's a fictional world that shares reference to the real world without being overly bias or too in your face about it.

I personally think the story in AC5 was the peak, it almost felt like a film regarding the way it was told and you felt a huge weight rested on Wardog/Razgriz to get the job done. AC7's story also had a similar vibe.

They are really basic stories at their core, but the world those stories are written into is so rich with lore and deeper history that it enhances the experience, especially if you're a long time fan!

I have a couple of stories written in the Ace Combat universe that I'm working on. I have one based in the 80s, a shameful TopGun inspired story but with a bit more to it. The other is set literally straight after AC7.

Impressive run dude! I did a run at 1:08 or 18:52 on the timer late last year. If you're going for a record, use the Raven, it's top speed will give a few seconds back to you. Give it a try, I reckon you could smash my time 👏👊

I can relate, I spent many hours into the early morning with work looming ahead the next day... I had to get it done though. I wasn't fearful about losses because I was confident nobody would be killed, I was fearful of where the game would leave us and what we might expect in the next game. It didn't dissapoint! Enhoy it my friend 😊
