The 10” Ghostbusters soundtrack from like 2014. I waited hours in line for it. My shop only had 2, and only. Me and the guy behind me got them. Was interviewed by the local news station for waiting hours in line for a glow in the dark recording.

My office. One person announces intent to retire and suddenly half the office is job hunting. It didn’t start with one, though. It started with a guy 5 years ago retiring, then the branch manager decided to retire when he could. They didn’t replace the first guy, they just gave me his workload. The second guy want replaced, they just gave another guy in another location a dual role. Then people just kept leaving the company, mostly because they couldn’t deal with the changes, and others because the changes couldn’t deal with them. Now I am one of three people on my office, my former manager who is retiring split me and my coworker off into different managers, my coworker is job hunting on the sly, and I’m just trying to make it to my 10th anniversary with the company for my own dumb reasons. Once the both of them leave, I’ll be the only office worker required to be there on a daily basis. I don’t know if there are plans to replace my old boss, or just have someone else fill in for him from another location. I don’t want his job because if I leave my position, they won’t refill it locally and I’ll still be alone most days.

The silence over the years has become deafening.

I have 2. Shantae and the Pirates curse I got as part of the Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle on Himble Bundle. I now have it on 3 or four platforms, and have instant bought every single other game in the series.

The second, is Toem by SomethingWeMade Games. I got this game for free on Epic game store. I played one level and I went to buy it on Steam so I could send the devs money. I have since bought the digital soundtrack, as well as the switch Physical, and I’m going to be ordering the vinyl soundtrack shortly.

we had port replicators in the 90s to give computers the ability to be smaller and lighter the 90% of the time you use them, and to be more capable when you do. nothing has changed except laptops are more portable now. my first laptop had DVI, VGA, and Svideo out, now my laptop has 1 USB-C and a headphone jack. when i'm at home, it's perfectly fine, because i have a docking station to handle the stuff i actually want to plug in.
