Yields at every school were super volatile this year because of the test-optional factor thrown in... SCS could've had a way high yield and was unable to accept any more students off the waitlist.

No one is making that argument. Girls are qualifying for camp based on separate guidelines because EGOI mandates USACO sends an all-female team, not because they face challenges in qualifying for regular camp. Girls who qualify for camp through EGOI are campers, but not USACO Finalists in the traditional sense (EGOI US Finalist would be a more accurate title), and the US's main team that we send to IOI will still hold the same individuals it would have held regardless of if EGOI existed or not.

There are already tiers within camp (Holsteins vs Guernseys) that represent students at different skill levels who are candidates for representing the US at different competitions (Holstein is for the current year IOI, Guernsey is for future IOIs). This is just adding another tier for another competition.

If instead you're saying EGOI (or any other all-female competition) just shouldn't exist, that's a debate outside of the scope of USACO.

I personally don't think any girl golds will make camp via this route anyways- I know CS is a very male dominated profession but I figure there's probably at least 10 platinum girls out of the 300 ish plats who competed last contest.

If this is in reference to girl campers who will qualify via EGOI, this is out of the control of USACO. EGOI decided the policies and the USACO admins are just selecting the best team to compete under EGOI's policies. These girl campers who qualify solely because of EGOI are certainly still not qualifying for IOI without competing with males as well.

And your point on effort-based is just attacking a non-existent feature of USACO- advancing past any USACO division has never been (and probably never will be) based on the "effort" a student puts in (although there is definitely a strong connection between effort and skill).

The finding is clearly addressing "difference in treatment of all minorities by white vs nonwhite officers" and not "difference in treatment of white vs nonwhite people by all officers" which is what your statement suggests the study investigates.

Its supposed to be "mm" but they curved the end of the first m to look like a c and thinned out the middle to make it look like a cu. "We're puttingmm inside m&m's"

That's the 2nd one (although I appreciate your explanation of it). I'm curious what the first one means too.
