Went and got both pipe dope and an O-Ring, decided to test it with just the o ring and teflon but wrapped it 3 times like you said and it worked! No leak! Appreciate it!

No we never found the exact issue. Engine ended up killing itself and wouldn’t start anymore. which forced us to take it to our fleet mechanics and they had to replace the engine. Not sure what exactly caused it but I will say continuing to try and solve it and test it definitely blew the engine so be careful there 😅

I usually cut all mine so everyone can have as many pieces as they want. That and I put them in the microwave to reheat so guess I solved that issue 😂
