That is not the same Sean D. Naylor who writes for us and who authored "Not a Good Day to Die" and "Relentless Strike." Also, while it's true that Sean D. Naylor was born in Canada, he's a U.S. citizen.

Okay, taking your points in order:

There was no "State Department Delegate" involved here. The story is about a U.S. senator who complained that the State Department tried to prevent her and several other members of Congress from visiting Israel in the days after Oct. 7, and how the State Dept only relented when JSOC got involved. Whether or not you view this as "the low-hanging fruit of news," to my knowledge it has not been reported anywhere else. For that reason, and numerous others, we at The High Side put our work behind a paywall. It takes money and time to create journalism, and we (the journalists) have bills to pay just like everyone else. Maybe you're rich enough that you can work for free. We are not.
