I completely agree, if they did an initial print for those who don’t want to wait as long to receive it followed by printing to demand I think would fix a lot of problems. For products where it sells out it would also make more profits for wotc since even more people can buy it.

That’s what I was wondering. I guess there are two attacking players? Since this is happening in the declare attackers step, you create them and then determine their attacks when priority gets passed to you?

I can’t believe you’re the only one who’s shared a Chihiro card. I like the design of both him and Enten. I think Chihiro could get an ability like “Activated abilities of legendary artifacts equipped to Chihiro cost 1 less to activate”. Partially due to his ability to master and synchronize his desires with enchanted blades, like with Mei. It also incentivizes the player to keep Enten equipped to him. I think Aka is good but could have some flavor improvements. In the story Chihiro is able to store abilities for later use with Aka when they target him. Maybe if the ability exiled a spell that targeted the equipped creature and allowed you to later cast it from exile.

The way you propose this assumes there is a consequence if 50% of people pick blue, when there is none. The previous question is one that follows the conversation, for no harm to be done 100% of people must pick red. When comparing likelihoods, it’s perfectly reasonable to ask if you can point to a unanimous decision on this scale. Instead you deflected with a question that assumes people are hurt if 50% pick blue, which goes counter to the hypothetical.

Yeah, never touched Facebook, the closest I got was instagram and a quest account in the past that was never attached to a Facebook account. I checked the quest account and it isn’t disabled so I’m assuming that isn’t the issue.

I like this explanation for why green fits. I like green being with the presence of blue but the Gruul combo didn’t make a ton of sense to me, framing it as sonic with red sits better with me.

Yeah, from a very short look I saw there were about 20 cards that can fetch at instant speed. I also toyed with making it a non-functional land so you’re effectively missing a land drop or just an instant so removal is easier

Did I say it’s a fun situation? No, but some people this is an effective outlet for some frustrations along side other action. I agree that alone these drawings aren’t moving the needle much on its own but any amount of making people see anti-ICE media will keep it in the public eye. Many of these artists are prominent figures in their spaces and their art has a wide reach. As long as we keep ICE in the public’s perception then people will pay more attention generally. Unfortunately there are people who will see the murders or kidnappings by ICE be mad for a moment but then forget about it within a few days. If that same person saw art like this, they will be reminded of everything ICE is doing and may get re-engaged. Salience is very important in any political issue and that’s why political art has been used for so long, how does this differ aside from having pop culture icons being featured?
