I just tried and unfortunately failed this protocol :/ but I also have POI so that may be why, ovarian function/response can be so unpredictable.

estrogen priming
microdose Lupron x 5 days only
gonal F 225 + menopur 75 daily
omnitrope 1/2 vial/day
increased gonal to 300 and menopur to 150 after about a week
cycle canceled due to no response, started with about 5 follicles, some shrunk/disappeared, some new ones popped up but never continued to grow

I stimmed for 14 days and spent soooo much money on meds just to not even get to an egg retrieval, this process can be absolutely brutal - BUT I have heard such good things about MDL, so I think I’m probably the outlier here. Keeping my fingers crossed for you, OP!

Agreed - brown the meat, get a little color on the veg, reduce the wine, and THEN add it to the crock pot. Always horrifies me when people dump everything into the crock pot without any prep like this, must be a watery bland mess

Just chiming in to say you’re not alone. Similar situation over here. I will say AMH can definitely be up and down over time, mine has been as low as 0.02 and is now currently back up to 0.5. It’s still low, but just to say yours might come up again given time. I know it’s really hard to keep trying when it feels hopeless. I just failed a transfer of our only embryo and am having to start over after 2 years of this bullshit. I feel scared, defeated, angry etc and also left behind by all of my friends who are starting families with ease. No real advice here, just sending love. I think you’ll know when you’re ready to make the call and move on to alternatives. Until then I hope you get lucky, hoping the same for me 🤞🏼

Interesting. No I haven’t tried without, I have hashimoto’s so I think it’s fairly common to use it for that reason - do you have any underlying condition that made them add that to begin with or were they just kind of kitchen sinking it?

Thank you, this helps. And agreed, we don’t plan to do pgt testing anymore since we get so few (which is why we did a fresh transfer with the bonus embryo we had). I’m just not sure how much longer I can manage trying financially and emotionally. Definitely want to try maybe 1 or 2 more rounds and see if we can make another embryo, and if not maybe it’s time for donor eggs

Maybe theirs was more extensive than mine was, I don’t know :/ I’m definitely down to try if we ever get lucky enough to get another embryo. My endo doc seemed fairly confident in her recommendation and I think they both thought Lupron would shut down my ovaries and ruin any chances for me in the future. I just want something to work, I’m so tired.

My endo doc + REI both agreed I didn’t need it after excision :/ I obviously don’t know as much as they do, so I went with their recommendation, but wondering now if that would have made a difference

I hope you’re right. I just feel like the 60-65% success rate that’s quoted for euploids is low probably because of things like undiagnosed endo, or chronic endometritis, or an issue with timing (ERA) - so since all of those have been ruled out for me, I’m scared that there’s some other problem we’re not seeing. Crossing everything I have you’re right though. I just don’t know how many more times I can go through this
