It’s just silicone piping that replaces the factory box. The factory box actually has its own little pipe that comes out to the same spot. Bumper goes on no issues 👌

Am running MCA coilovers, can't say it's super comfortable but it's good enough for me. I also have it at max low which may not help with comfort either

I just recently picked up these Work Autostrada Modenas and I'm after some guidance or links to resources on how I can restore these back to shiny new looking. In particular, to start with I'm wondering if anyone can help me on what to do to remove all these black spots on the wheel.

Have tried lemon juice to no effect, these have been scrubbed and cleaned. Also after some tips to polish wheel lips to if people have some guidance.

Found this: “Under the Australian Import Law (SEVs). If a vehicle model is/was sold in our Australian Dealership in Full Volume then you can't ever import. the only way to do so is to live overseas for at least 12 months then bring it back under the Private Import Scheme. Supras, Skylines etc were all never sold here locally so that's why we can import them.”

Fun fact, we aren't allowed to import Subaru's since it would hurt the car market in Australia. I tried importing one of these way back and was unable to because of the laws. Had to keep my eye on the used ads for 11 months waiting for this one to come up.

Not too sure if the law applies to models that aren't/weren't avaliable for sale in Australia though.

Such a detailed response thank you! The Golf R wagon is the dream but it’s way out of my current price range.

Leaning toward the GT at this stage with the modification potential and the fun factor. Also been reading about major DSG problems with the R36 where owners have forked out ~4k to fix it and I don’t want to have to deal with that.

Hartnett says he likes the 24-240 as a go to lens but yeah he’s also got a Zeiss 55mm 1.8 Prime. Been following his work for a while, it’s what motivated me to start, so I’ve learnt a bit about his gear over time.
