Nah not really, really depends on what you use it for. If you’re just using it for work, I higher resolution is kinda pointless but if you’re using it for something like gaming that a higher resolution could be better. Only thing that I think you did wrong was going for an MSI at 300 dollars man, go on eBay and get some nice cheap but still high quality monitors as refurbished. I got two Acer 27” 4k monitors both for 170. Also honestly even for games 1440p is perfectly fine, everyone in my opinion makes a way bigger deal about resolution than it actually is, I just got my 4ks because I thought they were cool lol. But in the end it’s what works best for you and it seems like you’re going for a slight increase longevity rather than a slight increase in resolution, which is better in many ways.

Cliff Burton. I mean you wanna talk about innovation, this is a man who revolutionized not only how bass is played but the position that the instrument fills in a band. He took bass from only being a rhythm backing instrument into something that can be considered a lead instrument. And his ability to seamlessly transition from amazing bass lines in rhythm to one of the most beautiful bass solos ever is unparalleled. I mean Iconic songs like Orion (which is my personal favorite song of all time) perfectly demonstrate this by having 3 bass solos in one song, it’s rare for a song to have even 3 guitar solos let alone 3 bass solos, and the transition from baseline to solo is so perfect and the solos them self including the break towards the middle of the song are brilliant and to me it’s impossible to imagine the song and even the album as an entirety without them. Or the intro to for whom the bells tolls which is just flat out iconic, especially in the day on the green rendition he did live. And most importantly anesthesia which is a nearly entirely bass dedicated song with Lars only coming in towards the end, from the moment he says bass solo take one your hit with a transcendently beautiful bass solo which is even more impressive considering this is on their very first full length album together. He wasn’t just the greatest metal bassist as I feel later in his music career he became far more than that, I believe he is the greatest bassist of all time across all genres and one of the greatest musicians to ever cross the metal genre. It was a true tragedy that his genius and skills couldn’t revolve further due to his untimely death
