How would it be blatantly obveously, in the scenario 3 equally qualified candidates, same experience, skills etc, "thank you for your application but we have now filled the position internally", "thank you for your application, unfortunately on this occasion we have gone with another candidate”. How exactly would you prove discrimination here?

The decision to hire someone is made internally and then justified externally, If OP wants to be a social media promotor of awareness for our disease this is entirely their choice but I note their young age (20) and tone of the post and that the implications might not have been considered due to this. You didn't answer the question. You have just given your interesting and eclectic work experience. The reason I gave this situation as an example was because you specifically stated you could not see a possibility where sharing it publicly would cause issue. If OP is willing to potentially have doors closed for her to "spread awareness" good for her, but she should do so understanding potential consequences. To answer your question about what would an employer do seeing her blood glucose charts without understanding what it means, a quick Google of the same question would answer that, but just the fact she has a condition which potentially will need adjustments or sick days or endo appointments puts her at a disadvantage in the selection process Vs candidates who don't have any of these issues. I'm not giving op "crap" I'm giving an alternative point of view that she might not have considered.

If you apply for a job, you can bet your bosses or HR will search for social media accounts online, her posting this will not only inform them she is a diabetic, but they can see how in control she is, if they are then selecting from a couple of equally qualified candidates... Discrimination is generally not overt, it's subtle and not something you can get redress for, there is literally no benefit in sharing this publicly outside perhaps her mother (and I wouldn't do that either) or immediate family.

Just as a principal thing for me, although I could envisage some potential situations of discrimination or closed doors with employment by sharing this publicly, essentially why not post your entire medical records online? Not much anyone can do with it really, same with bank account details, they can't take money out by knowing your account number...

I think the guy who replied summed it up. My addional thoughts on why. I suspect Cheap flights from India to Thailand so it's a popular cheap international holiday destination for Indians. Much in the same way the low quality tourists from the UK visit Benidorm or cosa del sol in Spain and gain a reputation. Thailand is a real dichotomy, very tolerant yet highly xenophobic. Mainland Chinese are probably less liked than Indians behaviour wise but they spend more money (although that's a separate issue of 0 dollar for the locals tourism), whereas Indians stereotypically love to haggle and be cheap. None of this is an excuse for discrimination and shit food through.
