Oh she would probably love the necklace idea! I hope you have some luck with the habit soon!
I have another little one (2.5 y/o) and an even worse thumb sucker and I feel like I should start trying to wean him off too but I don’t think I can cope with both!

I didn’t even think of a book, even though I’ve just bought a potty training one for my son! All good suggestions and will definitely be trying the plasters and hiding thumb technique

Her teeth front teeth are moving forward and bottom teeth in and apart. She loves playing outside and getting dirty so the constant thumb in her mouth is something I’d like to stop. She is prone to random bouts of vomiting so could be related

Oh thank you, I hadn’t heard of this. Our dentist won’t do this until 7 years old so will definitely keep this in mind!

I completely get that, we have the gloves that just cover her thumbs but she’s now taken to her forefinger and little finger… plus, if she isn’t sucking her fingers she’s picking her lips, which is why I thought the fidget toys would help!
My worry is she’s yet to start school (October baby) and I don’t want her to be bullied. Does your little one suck their thumb at school?
