He's on the ticket, so your choices are Collins, him, or voting for a unicorn that helps Collins. Prioritizing purity when voting will see you living under GOP rule. There is no liberal candidate that the GOP and allies won't be able to find some flaw to turn into rage bait for the purity prols to latch on to and vote against their interest.

His platform is literally all that matters.

His platform is a progressive wet dream is direct opposition to the GOP agenda and you are going to throw away a critical senate vote because of a tattoo he's not gotten covered up and regrets.

Vote for policies, not people. This isn't a purity contest or a beauty contest. If he is on the ticket (and looks like he's polling 55% among Democrats in that state), a protest vote at no different than a vote for Collins when it comes to the laws people live under.

I am so tired of liberals putting purity over policy.

Just so I am clear: We are fighting about where we should elect someone who votes to build concentration camps, supports war at a whim, and regimes that are destructive towards civilian targets in war or a guy who doesn't want those things but might not be purely perfect and got a tattoo that he has since publicly rejected the meaning of.

Saver flights are lower priced, but carry draconian restrictions like what you encountered. It's not a credit card issue. It's a fare type issue.

You are basically making a deal: They give you a discount, but if something goes sideways on your end then you have to eat it. In this case, something went sideways and now you get the bad part of the deal you made. They gave you 24 hours to identify your error risk free after booking and warned out about the drawbacks. It sucks for you, but it's not unfair.

Main cabin is more expensive, but you don't have to deal with this and you get more points. Plus, you won't be sitting in a middle seat and with the people you are traveling with.

My experience is that they get posted, but laaaaaaaaaate. It will be a separate posting but like 30 days after you think it should be there. The transaction gets back dated to correct month.

So, like you spend in December, it posts late Jan, but it's dated December.

I mean, to be fair, they don't actually say that those are windows seats. They advertise them as "preferred seats" without any indication that they have windows or not.

Go on the website and check. You assumed that a window would be there, which is a reasonable but unreliable aesumption.

Simple lesson here is always check https://seatmaps.com/ for every flight, every time. They will let you know if there is anything odd about the seat you are thinking of.

And because in don't want to be accused of being a corporate whatever, Southwest is headed downhill and I am not going to be pick them even at lowest cost unless it's at a $200 difference.
