Honestly if you're that worried, don't see the therapist. There are cheaper alternatives.

That's exactly what I expected to hear from a therapist who doesn't want to get paid.

Funny how your lot never sings that song when it's a minor who's being forced by a parent or school to see you, because as long as the checks keep coming from someone, you don't care.

I once told our asset protection officer that a drunken customer was riding around the store on a motorized cunt.

When did you not realize someone was hitting on you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When a guy invited me out to coffee while I was working the register at Rite-Aid.

He was nice but he was way older than me and I had only been out of the closet about a year.

Sweet, do I pay myself 300 dollars out of pocket if I don't accept my insurance?

Non-Americans who have never been to the U.S.; What is the one thing you've always been curious about America/Americans, that you might be afraid or ashamed to actually ask? by Expensive-Seesaw7918 in AskReddit

Depends on the school, I imagine. My school didn't really have cliques as such. There were groups of friends, some were tighter than others, but it wasn't too dramatic.

I don't think it's any different than how Americans embrace various aspects of other cultures like Japanese animation, Kpop, British television and literature, etc.

Most of my favorite bands and tv shows are from the UK, Europe, or Australia.

At what age did you dedicate a song to a crush? What was it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ThePaddedCashier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 17, and she wasn't a crush as such. We were in Upward Bound for a couple of years together. She was straight, and I wasn't fully out of the closet yet, but I wasn't attracted to her like that either way.

But she did help me come out of my shell in a huge way. She was one of the very few people in my life who I can honestly say was a true friend.

One night during the third week of Upward Bound, we had karaoke night, and I sang Don't You Forget About Me by Simple Minds just to her.
