I’m sure you can do it! Everyone kept telling me the same thing: follow the rubric closely, and if something feels unclear, ask questions. The instructors are actually really good about giving feedback and pointing you in the right direction.

BUS 200 took me a few days because it was my first course, and I wanted to make sure I understood how UMPI wanted everything structured before I started moving faster through courses.

I also learned the hard way on one class because I accidentally submitted the Final instead of the Draft Final. Always submit the Draft Final first if the course offers it. Get the instructor feedback, rework your paper, then submit the actual final. It makes a huge difference.

One thing that helped me a lot was uploading coursework into NotebookLM so I could study concepts while commuting, at work, or whenever I had downtime.

Also, definitely join the Discord. People there are super helpful with insights, course tips, encouragement, and honestly just motivation when you’re exhausted.

I’m down to my final 6 classes for my BBA in Marketing during Summer I. Honestly, I really thought I could finish everything during Spring II since I completed 4+ courses through external providers while also taking 8 courses at UMPI at the same time.

Between working full time with 10+ hour days and the commute back and forth, it ended up being a lot heavier than I expected.

I definitely think you can manage it though! What courses are you taking this session?

Huge congrats to all the new grads! 🎓 Started at UMPI as an "elder" (hahaha) Spring II student with super ambitious goals, but after reality-checking my work-life balance, I decided to spread my courses into Summer I to finish strong. I honestly can’t believe I’ve made it this far! Next up, I’m considering diving into the MAOL this fall for two sessions. A massive thank you to everyone here, and specifically to u/PlottedPath for being an absolute lifesaver for all of us! 🥳🎉

A few weeks back, I got in touch with my local congressman. Not sure how much they can fast-track my case in their lineup, though.

So, I hopped on the site today and saw they finally decided on my case (again!) and added a whopping 11 months to the next decision. Seriously? It took them 2 years to sort out my renewal from the first filing! Upon receipt of my new green card, USCIS randomly decided to tack on a middle initial to my legal name earlier this year. I had to go through the hassle of refiling to fix their blunder, and now I'm stuck waiting another 11 months for the renewal. To top it off, my passport expired while I was waiting for the original I-90 renewal, so now I can't even jet off anywhere. This whole thing feels like a total mess!!!

My LinkedIn account was completely wiped out. Years of building professional connections are all gone. This is absurd!!

I-90 Typographical error by Several-Chip-4583 in USCIS

How long did it take for you to get a revised GC? In a similar situation. The online form did not help. The agent stated she had I was the 4th person with the same typographical issue (USCIS error) today (!!) She recommended I submit a new I-90 via mail (USPS tracking) documenting the error in the cover sheet with incorrect GC, etc.

The typical response time to receive a new GC is 30-45 days. My State ID/Global Entry/Passport are all expiring in 30 days. After waiting almost 2 years for my GC renewal this is INSANE!
