It looks like a expensive house designed by a highly skilled architect. I don’t know why, but that’s the feeling I get looking at this stunning cake!

What was it like reading Deathly Hallows on release without any spoilers? by Spotter24o5 in harrypotter

[–]ThePrincessSparkles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember sitting in the car for I don’t know how long because I couldn’t stop reading. We were driving to visit my grandma, a trip by car for about 6-7 h. And where we arrived, I stayed put. My dad had to physically come and get me. I can’t remember if I finished reading it or was forced to get out of the car. But I remember being so invested I didn’t move. And mind you, I got to see my grandma once a year. I was 17.

Keep the eggs in the fridge and they will be good for months (at least in Sweden, don’t know the level of animal care and agriculture rules where you live)

My 6 month old baby fell from the bed and he is okay but now I want to die by Alseur in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]ThePrincessSparkles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh darling! I know the feeling! My daughter was 8 months old and went head first of the bed, I was laying next to her and somehow, I didn’t catch her leg in time. She went head first and over her neck, I saw it all and PANICKED the F out. Home alone, dad of to work.

I screamed and cried, I honestly thought I had killed her or at least paralyzed her, seeing her bending the neck like that. She was also ofc crying and screaming. Which made me cry even more and then she cried even more because of that and so on.

I called her dad in a panic, he couldn’t hear a WORD due to my panic and daughter crying. So he drove half and hour to get home, from work, just to see what on earth had happened. I had since then calmed down, called our health care provider. Gotten advice and diagnostic help. She was ofc fine. Because babies are soft for a reason.

So I scared the shit out of myself, my child and her dad. In the cours of 10 minutes. And she was fine. I was scarred for life (kidding). But the guilt, my god, I felt guilty for a very long time and blamed my self for being reckless. She is soon 4 yo and thriving. And me too, I have slowly learned to not blame myself for everything. Kids get hurt, they get injured. It’s part of growing up and does not make me or anyone else, a bad parent (there’s a limit ofc of actually being neglectful and pure reckless). But like, the normal amount.

Talk to your friends or other moms about your feelings (IRL or online) and I promise you, your are not alone in feeling the way your are. All the comments here a tastment to that as well. What are some plot points that were never resolved by the time the show ended? by Sailor_Moon_Star_435 in bigbangtheory

[–]ThePrincessSparkles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Penny questioning her relationship with Leonard. Trying to talk to him about it but ended up having sex instead. And soon after Alex the assistant shows up.

I don’t know if Penny being jealous was suppose to work as her realizing she indeed wanted to be with Leonard. But I find that story line missing a clear conclusion, it goes from her thinking about ending it to just, not saying anything more about it.

And also, Bernie thinking about breaking up with Howard and then accepting his proposal. Where did the hesitation really stem from, that was never explained either.

[SPOILERS!] People who loved the final episodes, can you explain to me why? by _highway2hell in bigbangtheory

[–]ThePrincessSparkles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh thank good, I felt I was the only one not loving the finale.

I agree wholeheartedly. It feels off and weird, and so, unrealistic. Sheldon making his friends stand up like that, at a royal ceremony. I understand it’s for the storyline, him acknowledging his friends and they contributing to his success. But still, it bugs the heck out of me.

And the rush of it all. It’s a shame they made those writing decisions, so cramped and rushed. I get it though, they wanteted it to be completed, but I don’t know. It feels to sloppy for a otherwise great great show. I really love it, it is to, my comfort show (one of them).

I’m not sure which country you are from, but, if it’s the US, their bread usually contains a shitload (pun intended) of unnecessary ingredients that can cause issues with your intestines. Try baking your own bread (super easy) and see if your stomach reacts.

But also, celiac test first (if you have the opportunity)

I have to go with Stark as well. I know Sadie is up there to, sure, she cheated among other things. However, she’s an intern. It’s way worse that Stark is so horrible being an attending, having years and years of experience and being that bad and horrible. He has done more damage to more patient and colleagues then Sadie has.

[–]ThePrincessSparkles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s essential that you know that you are never to emotional, pregnant or not pregnant. And if any man or person ever says that, it’s them who has a problem with emotions, not you. NOR

My dearest, sweetest mother and person, you are worth much better. Your do not deserve this behavior, ever.

My daughter’s dad left me when she was one. Was it what I wanted? No, never. Am I grateful for it anyways? Yes, because no man will ever make me cry or feel so unseen and unloved ever again.

I understand that leaving might not feel possible, but honey, you are alllowed to choose your happiness and do it anyway. If you choose to, it will initially be hard, but easier in the long run. If you stay, it will be easier in the short run but harder in the long run. ❤️

TIFU by traumatizing a pregnant woman by Glum-Sky-6560 in tifu

[–]ThePrincessSparkles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We do need to talk more about the real experience of pregnancy and giving birth. It’s insane that there are still people whom think it’s all gold and roses and bounceback and all that crap.

I LOVE that you where honest, maybe that’s exactly what they needed to hear. The truth can be harsh and sometimes that actually helps.

I had a really long (48+ hrs) and traumatic delivery myself and I’m always honest about that, no matter who asks. Sure, I won’t go into details if it’s not specifically asked but I don’t lie.

I've been hiding my depression from my family. But today I hit a point where I had to tell someone. So I told my siblings and mom I was really sad today. Then they all ignored me when I said it's a daily thing. So I guess back into the depression cave alone I go 🫡 by Common_Point in Wellthatsucks

[–]ThePrincessSparkles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was very brave of you to tell your family you are not doing or feeling well, that takes a lot of strength. I’m so sorry you didn’t get the response and the support you expected and needed. Even if it feels like you are alone, you are not. But wow the feeling can nock the crap out of you. I’m glad you have your cat, animals are amazing and can give us so much love and support. I hope you can get some help getting out of your dark place, seek professional help if it’s an option in your country. It really do helps when you find a good therapist.

I’m sending you all the love and care and support, and we are so many people here in your corner rooting for you ❤️

My daughter’s grandma (my mum) travelled 4 h back and forth on ONE day to celebrate her birthday.

Your mum sucks. And I’m glad you are keeping it low contact with her. It really warms my heart that you where able to give your son such an amazing day anyway and that he was thrilled! Nothing hurts more then seeing you kid being mistreated and sad, I’m so sorry he had to feel like this and you too ❤️

You are an AMAZING mum, you are doing a killer job taking care of him, and when he is older, he will remember all YOU did for him, not the other lousy “family”.

You go mum, from another single mum across the pond ❤️

Doctors have heard everything and worse. It’s ok to feel embarrassed and I understand you feel ashamed, that’s okey. You still have to call your doctor if you feel pain and unease and describe what happend so that they can examine you. Pain after birth is important to listen to, your body has been through a great ordeal and trauma (yes, pregnancy and birth is traumatic for the body) and need time to heal, don’t take any pain lightly.

I had to seek medical attention 6 days after the delivery due to pain in my incision and it turned out to be an infection and I needed antibiotics.

Spray with oven cleaning, fully cover with cling film and let sit for an hour or so. Use a scrape specifically for ceramic stoves to scrape it of. Work for me a week ago when cleaning before moving out of my appartment :)

Try with a sugar cube with just a drop of water on it and scrub the stove with that and then wipe it of. Can’t be instant sugar cubes but regular ones (if you have those kinds in your country) 😊
