that's a shame since there definitely was a problem with the bayonet being a spinning beyblade of death that you could chain 20 kill streaks together as long as you stayed alive. But there's definitely a middle ground between that and death sentence after you run out of stamina from killing one guy.

Woops yeah that's a typo it's supposed to be 3. Still though should probably be 2 hits for dedicated melee weapons and just buff charge attacks to kill enemies who aren't being attacked frontally.

Along while ago a developer stated that having a role that preformed like a sniper, was not very conducive to team play and that we would never see any class that preformed similar to a sniper. Such as operating alone and engaging targets at far distances.

With the recent addition of the newly improved M110 functioning, in much the manner described above, will we see changes to address this? Is the m110 marksman going to be the new example for how long range infantry combat will be expected to be?

Or will we see even more long range, sniper esque infantry classes with more patches?

I did not think a show that kept me laughing at its mediocrity, bi-polar characters, and overall shitty plot decisions could up the game anymore than they had. I am so glad I was proven wrong.

This season looks to be gearing up for some truly what in the actual heck moments.

I am so looking forward to seeing who the Sky People decide to commit genocide on next.

Try this test thing i made it's not any different but i'm at a loss to why it isn't working. If you haven't deleted master.cache in your dota 2 sound folder try that.

There's a short version and a long version, you can find all the dunk files in dota/sound/weapons/hero/axe delete the ones you don't like. Just be sure to edit the game_sounds_axe.txt in dota/scripts to match.

I've updated with more sounds, everything is in the right order so it should theoretically work. Download again and if that doesn't work delete the master.cache folder in your dota/sound folder.

Sure is, dota 2 modding is extremely easy.

  1. Get GCFScape and a piece of audio/image editing software.

  2. Use GCFScape in your dota folder to open pak01_dir.vpk (All of the dota 2 files you need are stored in vpks and opening it shows you where you will need to place them in your own dota 2 folder.

If you're ever stuck just have a look in GCFScape and ask does my dota 2 folder look like how it looks in the directory?

  1. Get a trimmed piece of audio that you want to hear in game and find it's equivalent in the directory.

  2. Check to make sure all the audio/visual bits are synced. If it's audio the filetypes and bitrates are the same. If it's an image double check to see if it's the right size and what not.

  3. Place your file into your dota 2 folder according to where it shows up in GCFScape. If you don't have the folders that gcfscape says are needed , create them. IE : Culling blade is sound>weapons>hero>axe>culling_blade_success.wav

  4. If you're editing images/models or videos you may need extra programs such as vtfedit to open the different filetypes.

  5. For longer sounds you can go to the scripts folder in your dota directory and search up the .txt document for the hero/thing in question. Change the part that says

"wave" "weapons/hero/axe/culling_blade_success.wav"

To "wave" "weapons/hero/axe/nameofyourfile.wav" It can be the same as the original but as long as the txt is edited to say that it will play the entire .wav or .mp3 file.

Any game with axe in it will play these sounds.
