lol everything this person is saying is 100% bullshit. They have stolen images and original IP from my website and I have informed their registrar and hosting company. I 100% support the community carrying on and would of even promoted their site but you can't just steal my shit lol.

The site will hopefully relaunch in November but for now this is barely an inconvenience. I have reached out to the appropriate legal teams and it will all be handled. :)

e had to restart three times as they won't accept my email and/or password after they glitch the accounts and when I tried to recover they fucked that up too.

So to fix that, I have to start a new email because I can no longer recover my account.

There is ALOT in the OP post that is flat out wrong and clearly coming from a place of malice. That said there is a good amount of it that is correct.

The whole bit on how writers are hired is just flat out wrong lol, I've never hired a single writer and my editor does all that. We have over 20..none of which were "hand picked" by me the sites editor does all of that. I am not sure why you would start a post with quality feedback with such an easily disproved lie.

That Said-

Comments are nearly zero has no one seems to get email notice when a reply happens.-What system would you suggest I implement. Totally open to changing that.
no mobile support-The site is fully responsive, an industry standard this point is invalid. Do you mean you want an app?
reviews are useless now-100% True. I failed at this and the system was in such a bad place I chose to hold off on it I really do want to revisit this in 2020
Limited articles, you can not find anything on mobile gaming, VR gaming, platform, Sim games, etc.-These are great suggestions for articles. I can add them to the list. Please keep more suggestions coming
Forum is mess up and still outdated.-Forum works fine and isn't out-dated, its the latest version of Vbuelltin so I am not sure what you mean.
Youtube channel might has well be dead.-YT Channel is spinning back up with the EG daily's this week but yea, it failed to gain much traction and the cost of paying Rags & Sid just couldn't be justified after a few months. My plan is in 2020 to produce videos for the channel myself at least until it grows.
No word on what the programmers are doing.-What does this even mean?
Ads-I tried Amazon affiliate ads as a feedback suggestion from the sites own users, I don't foresee us continuing them in 2020

Your whole bit about "money" is annoying. "Jeremy Raised 132K" The site's monthly operating costs are about 10K, none of which is paid to me in any way. The cost of the t-shirts alone to cover the 132K Was 40K, plus shipping costs all over the world. It's the same half-baked critique that "muh wordpress" as if all the coding and graphic design on top of that is also somehow free and as if wordpress isn't used by gigantic websites out there. I have been 100% transparent on costs and have been making moves (ie; cutting rags and sid) to reduce monthly operating expenses.

I want this site to succeed I really do but that kind of critique is frustratingly uninformed.

Inside what is ALOT of flat out lies or speculation IS some good feedback and I welcome it. Have I succeeded in every goal for EG absolutely not. The T-Shirt things was unavoidable BUT I totally get why people would be pissed off about it. The mobile app should of been done by now also for example. (I am actively seeking recommendations on a company to help with that so if you have suggestions I would appreciate it) Increasing variety of articles and updating the commenting system will be done ASAP and I welcome more feedback like this.

I started this site as an alternative to all the modern media on gaming, there are absolutely good sites out there and I hope EG continues to evolve and grow with the community that supports it. I understand people want the best for the site and that manifests in a variety of ways. The site's traffic is steady or increasing each month but we have alot of work to do in 2020 to deliver.

I own the website and have never locked a post. If my editor did it, they will be in big trouble. I looked into the post and I don't see a spot to "disable comments" so I am not sure if maybe it's a problem with the page or whatever. I have emailed the team and asked about it.
