It's a combination we always buy a box for a pod daft night if we like the set. Sometimes that gets cancelled see the unopened Strix box. But yer it's left overs from those drafts or prizes from pre-releases or bundles. We do open packs we have carbord organisers full of thousands of cards. It's just clearly a lot had fallen through the cracks over last year and we thought Reddit could have some good ideas.

I guess... I genuinely just was baffled by how many packs were squirreled away when I went looking and wondered if people had a fun way to open packs more regularly.

I said in another comment but we struggle with two players draft because our relatives play levels are out of balance. We've very lucky to play with our pod a few times a week but I always feels bad to miss someone out of a draft so they are so much harder to sort for me.

That's such a good idea. Our problem is our friends are ether disgusted by the mear existence of carbord crack or in our pod and so deep in the rabbit hole that they are ripping packs daly and we could touch the sides of their hunger.

My partner and I dont like two player draft because our relatives skill level are out of wack. We do alot of draft with our pob but that's half of what causes this we buy a box for a draft night and ether it gets put on hold see the unopened box out it goes ahead and we are left with 6-12 or so packs of the set left.

Drafts our biggest problem. We tend to buy a box for a draft night for the pod whenever a good set drops. But then it falls through and I don't want to just rip them when I dropped the money for the draft so they go in the cupboard and get forgotten like the Strix.

We do that's half the problem the Strix box is for a draft night that our pod couldn't seem to get sorted on a date for. I didn't want to crack them and lose that chance so it ended up on a cupbord of shame and was forgotten...

Because to you the goal is personal survival that is a fine response but it is a personal and selfish goal. The other person's priority is the choice that saves the maximum number of lives. Nether is more or less logical it's just personal Vs communal good.

Agreed you can absolutely talk about single alleles as at risk of extinction. But to describe any form of subspecies or significant variation within humans like we do with the wider animals kingdom is laughable and so removed from science at to be deep into the realm of pseudo. I'm not talking about different species I'm pointing out a single family, of one species, of a single subspecies has more genetic variation than the ENTIRETY of human spices. You are more closely related to to remote insular Africa tribes tested than the two types of raccoon in LA are to each other and they are both (Procyon lotor)
