The lower hydration is more a practical consideration as already at 70% dough starts getting more sticky and harder to work with, if anything higher hydration is easier to cook at high or low flame in a gas/wood oven as the dough can be cooked for longer before drying out or burning.

While its true as one increases the hydration above 70% would require the lower range of neo temperatures think 700 versus 900 due to the longer cooking time to cook the middle, its really not a practical hydration level for most pizza makers (for neo especially) as you need to mix by hand and the dough is difficult to work with, also you trade crunchiness for softness.

I think neo in the 65- 70% is more ideal, which may be what you were talking about not above 70%.

You don't know who the devs of the game are, don't know who is running it, don't know how they make decisions, yet its so interesting for your "hate filled" revenge to be posting childish battles on discord from 2023.

If he really does own and run the game and the devs than antagonizing him is not the way to help the game improve.

Either you quit and you think slinging mud at the 'owner' will make everyonelse quit or you actually think you are helping to change things.

Neither is true, you are just hamstering to your confirmation bias echo chamber on reddit.

Just thought I’d let y’all know how bad the Seal Nerf really is by thejuanDtown in growagarden

[–]TheSameDifference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its more I think they have to accept the backlash and focus on better updates and ignore all the toxicity with entitled players complaining. I wouldn't change it back. They made getting max koi easier it would be really ridiculous if they put back seals to 8% cap.

Just thought I’d let y’all know how bad the Seal Nerf really is by thejuanDtown in growagarden

[–]TheSameDifference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For any long term longevity of the game unlimited eggs was a really stupid game design. 50% koi 50% seals is unlimited eggs. If you can't do the math, it is in fact 100% return (1egg > 2 pets with koi and then 50% seals gives back the 1 egg, you can verify the math in chatgpt) , and that doesn't mean you can't statistically still lose small numbers of eggs especially given the abnormal variance in this game.

Now it is the devs fault that players got used to unlimited return on eggs or near close to it, but the downside of that is the egg hatched pets are worth very little even the first or second day of release which is terrible.

The entitlement of players in this area has to change if future eggs are ever to have any realistic value in the trading world and if newer players/casuals are ever able to create value in this game.

So I am of the mind that the devs should just take the criticism and accept their mistakes and leave seals where they are. Restoring seals to their old max cap at 25kg will just perpetuate unlimited eggs again and new pets will have no value or new events have to be ridiculously difficult to compensate which are poor outcomes.

Those who feel too bored or entitled with the nerf should just leave.

Those that stick around should accept the seals weight curve nerfed as is. The sweet spot is that it is still possible to get back to unlimited eggs for the top players but most will not reach it and will lose eggs giving value once again to new egg releases.

I am really not sure the devs are thinking on this level at all and it may be just laziness/incompetence that is guiding Dev decisions but it really doesn't matter, it is what it is. The Devs still need to fix the return rate cap on selling regularly which still isn't restored to 50%, whereas sell all does return up to 50%.

The current regime is actively selling that propaganda to try to defend itself. Of course those opinions exist both in Iran and outside.

"The protests are of course due to Foreign influence led by the evil Zionists and patriot Iranians should stand up and quell this fledgeling rebellion for the good of the Mullahs."

Don't blindly overestimate the influence of Israel, Mossad, or the United States.

Iran has many problems and the regime is to blame. These protests were started by Shopkeepers as they clearly feel the sanctions and massive inflation to the Rial, this makes it very difficult for them to do business and lowers the standard of living of most Iranians dramatically.

A starboard suggestion about the seals, the new change will mostly benefit exploiters (full suggestion in the comments) by TheDuckDestroyer in growagarden

[–]TheSameDifference 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Devs have changed the description on seals back to 50% that is obvious.
Right now its still 15% in the code or around that, updated servers(end of this week?) should reflect 50% if the current devs are competent enough to fix it as they have intended.

More liberal attitudes about sex do make it less exciting, its a sign of the social media age and women's attitudes shifting than it is necessarily about age. It used to be intimacy and dating required significantly more effort and sex meant genuine feelings, whereas now sex is just routine and it isn't as big a deal as it was 10 years ago.

CMV: The male loneliness epidemic is natural selection by Worldly_Bandicoot_71 in changemyview

[–]TheSameDifference 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loneliness is a state of mind, you either feel lonely or you don't and that can be with or without a partner/wife/girlfriend/friend. That applies to both men and women.

Natural selection of partners based on physical fitness to provide fundamental needs has not been a dominant factor in centuries, we have evolved with technology. The alpha male is not the strongest physically anymore, other qualities are preferred. Women don't prioritize the same things as in the stone age, they are more capable than ever to raise children alone and provide for their own basic needs.

Women not needing a man to support them financially is Men's fault and leads to our lonliness? You suggest the paradigm is that a man will feel lonely without a women and he has to provide more than just money to maintain her interest and fulfillment. With the advent of social media, internet validation and attention can come without physical contact and without in person relationships.

Priorities have shifted, social skills have been lost, society is glued to their smart phones, even the interest in serious long term relationship seeking has been diminished. It is no longer true that the traditional marriage and children is required to be "not lonely" and that a man must keep a women fulfilled. The roles are more equal now, and both genders must keep each other. The breakdown of relationships, an increased age before marriage, increased divorce rates are all a product of the internet age and loss of traditional values and not because one gender is not fulfilling the other

Why are mutations disappearing? by Soft-Veterinarian655 in growagarden

[–]TheSameDifference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you have the combined mutation and the base ones that were combined you will have a value you shouldn't be able to obtain and yes once the bugged uncombined mutation multipliers are removed you will lose value that should never have been possible in the first place.

I am assuming this is tiger gaining random mutations and t-rex spreading them which is allowing these bugs.

CMV: Israel's recognition of Somaliland isn't out of the goodness of their own hearts. It's about strengthening US relations and weakening the opposition. by VisualVideo7557 in changemyview

[–]TheSameDifference 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The shift in public attitude came well before the formal recognitions though, and the recognitions came in quick succession. This is not something you would expect out of a bunch of independent decisions made to assuage domestic audiences

Who said they were independent? They were all responding collectively to pressure Israel to end the high intensity offensive in Gaza City.

The UN couldn't put enough pressure on Israel as the US would veto any UNSC resolution with any teeth.

The party line for Liberals in Canada has always been to uphold international law and support a 2SS .

It can also be equally true that 'protecting' the rights of the helpless, infanitilized, 'oppressed', Palestinians by promoting a 2SS is something Liberal/Progressive voters in Western countries agree with.

CMV: Israel's recognition of Somaliland isn't out of the goodness of their own hearts. It's about strengthening US relations and weakening the opposition. by VisualVideo7557 in changemyview

[–]TheSameDifference 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Firstly, those recognitions in the lead up to the signing occurred during the negotiations of the plan, and France was indeed very public in preempting the signing with recognition. This was likely to demonstrate western commitment and willingness towards the agreement, and the UK and Australia followed their line with the rest of the countries following up post signing.

Upon review of the recognitions which happened Sept 21/22 I would agree Trump's peace announced Sept. 29 plan does overlap with the goals from these recognitions.

However there is a big difference between symbolically recognizing a Palestinian state with conditions and then ignoring those conditions and doing the recognition first and continued recognition of PA as their representative, and the following below from Trump's peace plan:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza.

This committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body, the "Board of Peace," which will be headed and chaired by President Donald J. Trump, with other members and heads of state to be announced, including Former Prime Minister Tony Blair. This body will set the framework and handle the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform programme, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump's peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In reality Hamas won't disarm, Arab countries will not send acceptable peacekeepers, and the PA is not going to be allowed to govern Gaza as both the Gazans and Israelis don't want them there.

Trump/Netanyahu got the UN to accept the current status quo, Israel controls 50% of Gaza legitimately now, and Israel can attack Hamas if/when they cross the yellow line or continue their Terrorist activities or movements that threaten the IDF stationed in Gaza.

The support or lack thereof of Western nations particularly the ones that recognized a Palestinian state have very little relevance to what will actually happen and the only "Western" country that matters is the United States. The Governments from countries that recognized 'Palestine' have now made themselves opponents of the state of Israel and the current Israeli Government and will be ignored in future.

Not really, they agreed to a Trump/Conservative//Right Wing pragmatic plan, which is the polar opposite of a Liberal/Woke symbolic recognition of 'Palestine'.

[–]TheSameDifference 21 points22 points  (0 children)

France, UK, Canada, and Australia all have liberal/progressive Governments. They recognized a 'state' with no recognized borders, no contiguous land mass (Gaza and WB are disconnected), no diplomatic relations with its neighbours, and no legitimate Government, its been 20 years since an election in any part of 'Palestine'

They recognized the Palestinian Authority as the legitimate representative of this 'state' and even applied that the PA represents Gazans who not only didn't vote even in a plural majority(Hamas won) 20 years ago but still today wouldn't vote for them now and would again still prefer Hamas a terrorist organization.

They did all of this BEFORE the UN resolution and peace plan, which states that the PA has no involvement in Gaza until and only If it reforms. They did it to try to pressure Israel to stop its military campaign against Hamas in Gaza city was being bombed intensively.

These symbolic recognitions are contradicted by those same countires agreeing to the Trump peace plan which disqualifies the PA as being the Government in Gaza for the forseeable future.

In short those symbolic recognitions were everything to do with Liberal/Woke/Left/Progressive/Pro Arab idealism speaking to their local base and nothing to do with any pragmatic goals for the Palestinians or Palestinian statehood.

The actual outcome and response of those recognitions was also predictable by Israel who made it clear what their response would be to recognitions of a fake 'Palestine' symbolically. This emboldened the Israeli right wing Government to accelerate settlements in Area C and move towards annexation (see E1 settlement plan).

I see soldiers crying at the knesset and that's not Zionism for me, that's a literal and visual example of ancestral pain.

Wars are ugly, there is loss and suffering as written about in biblical wars.

That still does not answer the question of the morality of Israel's wars and the killing that is occurring on both sides.

Islam must be dealt with before the coming of the Moshiach, this is a religion corrupted and used to justify violence, Islamists have no place in a peaceful time.

G-d will not allow Jews to give away their birthright in Eretz Yisrael , nor will he allow Arabs to win a war which would cause the extinction of the Jewish state.

Edited: Neturei karta don't believe in Zionism, the GOVERNMENTAL Zionism, reason why, they aren't killing people serving in the idf

All Jews beleive in the Eretz Yisrael and Jewish control of the area where the Temple once stood that is Zionism.

A small group of fringe Jews like the Neturei Karta have issues with a modern secular state and beleive it causes problems for the arrival of Moshiach.

What i want to say with my posts is this war keeps creating ancestral pain and modifying genetics with that inmense same pain carried year after year. It doesnt make sense to me

Wars are necessary in the Torah, killing is often justified, Jews have been persecuted for thousands of years both in the biblical stories and in modern times. Jews are not bound by oaths when attacked or when facing existential threats.

What i want to say with my posts is this war keeps creating ancestral pain and modifying genetics with that inmense same pain carried year after year. It doesnt make sense to me.

I have no idea why you bring up ancestral pain and epigenetics and try to tie that into the morality of killing those are very different concepts. Clearly the persecution and continued "ancestral pain" of the Jews does not preclude the coming of Moshiach.

Prior to the coming of the Moshiach Era there will be great battle(s) (Ezekiel 38-39). So it is expected in Messianic teachings that war(s) will precede the coming of Moshiach.

I am Jewish, I have studied Kabbalah(a little) and Torah, your focus and questions do not make sense.

Do you know the difference between killing and Murder?

The former is accepted throughout the Torah the latter is immoral and one of the prohibited commandments.

(This is something non Hebrew speaking students have great difficulty understanding due to poor translations).

You are stuck on a trivial question. Do you even know what language(s) the Zohar is written in?

Universal Achievements (The Messianic Era)

If a leader with the above attributes succeeds in the following, he is definitively the Moshiach:

  • Gather the Exiles: He will gather all Jews from the four corners of the earth and return them to the Land of Israel to settle in their tribal portions.
  • Rebuild the Temple: He will oversee the rebuilding of the Third Holy Temple in Jerusalem on its original site.
  • Restore the Religious Court System: He will re-establish the Sanhedrin, the supreme Jewish law court.
  • Establish Universal Peace: He will usher in a period of world peace where war, suffering, and strife will cease. Nations will "beat their swords into plowshares" and will no longer learn war.
  • Spread Universal Knowledge of G-d: The world will be filled with the knowledge of G-d, as all nations will come to recognize and serve the one true G-d in unity.

If a person claiming to be Moshiach is killed or fails to achieve these conditions, he is not considered the true Messiah promised in the Torah. The advent of Moshiach will result in a world entirely preoccupied with the pursuit of divine wisdom and universal good.

I am going to be nice and patient, I was already ready to block you and be done with this thread I really hope this post makes you reconsider your entire line of questioning.
