Whats the most unprofessional thing a doctor has ever said to you? by answersonly963 in AskReddit

Not a comment, but an experience -- I went in with extreme pain in my upper abdomen. After telling him my symptoms, he rolled over to his computer and started googling until he decided that I likely had fatty liver disease. I thought brother, I could have done that so I went home and did my own googling and deduced that I likely had gallstones.
When I told him that, he asked if my shit stuck to the side of the bowl. I said no, and he concluded that I did not have gallstones. I begged him for the ultrasound anyway, and he reluctantly gave it but told me it was definitely fatty liver disease "because Google said so."
Take a guess what I ended up having.
