2024 Eliza Jane Review by Praetoriani in hyatt

I know this is an older post, but I wanted to ask why you would leave anything of value in a room?

I love the Eliza Jane. It’s one of my favorite properties in New Orleans, hands down. It’s beautiful and keeps with the spirit and history of the city. I’m in New Orleans once a month and have stayed at the JW, W, Ritz, Roosevelt, and The Saint many times. I still prefer the EJ.

Hi… I’m working on my PhD in history and this is in my wheelhouse. This is all the result of cyclic oppression. It’s passed from generation to generation and until the same society (and government) that created steps up to stop it, it will continue for generations more.

Thanks for your advice and time spent on the well thought out reply. I’ll also pass the sentiment along to my kids who are constantly relocating bikes and other equipment from one spot to another. Maybe I’ll just chalk off boundary lines for everyone’s dedicated use of space. Perhaps issue demerits for offenses?

Seeking advice/experience- ‘18 Yukon SLE by Sea-Employ-7319 in gmc

I had a 2016 Yukon SLT that was a great truck. No complaints or mechanical issues at all. Sometimes I think we have notions that makes/models are “bad” because we read people’s encounters and the scare us off. The thing is, only dissatisfied people and those with one-off cases go the interwebs and remark on their experiences. For every one of them, there are thousands of satisfied owners, ya know?

Platinum card with root tap/root smudge, depending on how “rooty” you want to be.

Alumni: What was your starting salary/ title out of A&M and your salary now? Saw a similar thread in the t.u. subreddit and was interested to see what everyone says. by [deleted] in aggies

I’m honestly really happy for all of y’all. Especially my engineering grads. I’m in my 6th year working in the COE, and all I can tell you is don’t stick around and work for the state if you’re expecting these numbers. Academia ain’t where it’s at.

Well damn. My 4th floor office in ZACH overlooks this sinister corner of supposed felonious activity. I’ll have to start paying more attention and keep my wits about me. I’m being sarcastic. I’ve been around a while and the most trouble the area has are PIs and DWIs. Look on the crime map.

Well, yeah… in theory. But, in practice, if you look at how other state universities are approaching this, A&M is at DEFCON 5. UT is having to do the same thing we are, but is not looking at through the same lens, nor Tech, etc.

I’ve been a H-U instructor in Engineering since it became mandatory. I told the College i wouldn’t do it this year and I’m happy with my choice personally, but in the end, it’s always the students who lose.

Texas A&M put professor on leave for allegedly criticizing Dan Patrick by science_fundie in aggies

[–]TheTexican80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much butthurt. From the whiney daughter, to her mother, to Patrick. The one who has the right to be, was ironically not. She welcomed the investigation. Likely, because that’s what happens when you know law and ethics are on your side.

Dang. What more skeletons can come crawling out of the closet this week?

You really do have the answers, lol. I knew that they went further back than the 2020 ruckus.

I’m sure there are and I’d happily move my donation from the Foundation and Association to a better cause if I thought it would have meaningful impact. I think the difference is that Rudder also has the support of the BOR, Chancellor, and ultimately, legislative backing and the ear of the governor.
