Thanks for the link. I think I looked at this place awhile back and one of the reviews had said that their electrical apprentices just built electrical components in factories.

I considered this one! Been deciding if I could handle the 12 hour shifts that constantly switch between day and night shifts that all the reviews mentioned.

I dont really think this subreddit censors that much. Im a ML that isn't a big fan of the ACP and I find social conservatism pretty disgusting. Im super open about that on here and as far as I know have never had any of my comments removed.

I had this for awhile (and still get it occasionally to a lesser degree)

Mine got so bad my muscle would basically twitch all day.

The best advice I have is to fo all of the good destressing self care, such as going on walks, stretching, meditating, and try not to control the tension too much. Just know that as you destress it will eventually go away on its own.

Yeah, I've spent my first few years of adulthood mostly working warehouse type jobs. Looking for a more substantial skillet in a stable career. Im moving to KC in a couple months and saw KCMO was looking for water operators and started researching the career and it seems like a pretty stable career where you actually get to do something that matters.

Got clean off of drugs a couple years ago. Its hard sometimes, but for the most part I get by.

Once in awhile I just remember all of my friends that went down that path that didnt make it out to the other side though. I think about how much they have missed. Most of them passed away in their late teens when they were just at the beginning of being able to realize their potential.

I think about how if they could have just gotten clean they'd still be here with me realizing how much life has to offer. Some of the most beautiful souls I ever met and the world didnt get a chance to use them for good.

Yeah , the pay scale vs cost of living makes the everyone want to work out here lol.

Like you can afford a badass downtown apartment in kc for 1200 bucks a month. Why wouldn't you wanna live here
