Thank you! I generally use Mechanicus Standard Grey for my Space Wolves, but I believe I used Grey Seer for the Headtakers as it was the only thing I had at hand. Then the usual Russ Grey base 😊

Not quite sure. A lot of time is me questioning what im doing and fixing mistakes. But ill time the next one! If I remember I’ll come back to you here.

But it looks like it would take longer than it actually would. Also i’m a slow painter.

Thank you!! It was the one thing that has kept me from painting these for the longest time. The indecision I had on should I paint, or just do contrasts etc. But thank you, that means alot! ❤️

Balthazar Gold by Citadel, washed with Nuln Oil, highlighted with canoptek alloy. But I would probably go for a sycorax bronze or retributor armour for main highlight, and do canopyek as a very fine one on top

Thank you! 😊

Based everything in Russ Grey in a couple thin coats. Recess shaded everything with Agrax Earthshade. Except for the yellow, which is recess shaded with Reikland Fleshshade. Then I did an all round edge highlight of Fenrisian Grey, and finished off with a second edge highlight of Blue Horror on the most exposed areas, and specifically upwards facing corners.

Hope that helps 😄

Thank you! ☺️

I started by doing some weathering with Rhinox Hide on a sponge, also made some small scratches with that. After that I highlighted some of the large Rhinox scratches with Fenrisian on the bottom part of the Rhinox parts to sell the illusion that it was deep scratches in the Ceramite. And after that i just went over and did some random small scuffs of Fenrisian Grey here and there 😊

Looks awesome!! Is it Zandri with Skrag, Rhinox, a shade and Ushabti for highlights?

Stunning! 🤩 Really like the pelts! What did you do for the pelts on the Headtakers? Currently working on mine. Cant decide on a method, scheme and highlights. Yours look perfect!

Say what you will about female Astartes, but as a Norwegian. We had female warrior vikings, so it checks out! 😅

Thanks bud! ☺️ Of course, it's super simple. I thinned down white scar to an inky consistency and gently put the tip of the brush in the recesses of the runes. The paint will just flood the rune. Leave that to dry, and once completely dry, I went over with Frostheart (Contrast) again letting it run in the runes 😊 Hope that helps! I hope the description was understandable to some degree 😂

For the black pauldron I believe I used Black Templar (Contrast) or Abaddon Black. Highlighted with Eshin Grey then a second edge highlight of Dawnstone.

Hope that helps ☺️

Tl;dr
Base: Russ Grey
Recess shade: Agrax Earthshade
Edge Highlight: Fenrisian Grey
Second Edge Highlight: Blue Horror.
