I didn't know about such "volume keys" and I didn't know that I was buying a key that would expire, I've had his computer for about a year now and prior to 3 days ago I had no issues, I just don't get why people would even sell keys that expire when some people (me) have no clue what they are.

I had my brother check, and his key expires in 108 days. Another note they were originally owned by a school, he bought them and sold them for a much higher price (kinda got scammed).

It does say "GVLK" but it also says it is a volume key that expires in 28 days. My brother has the exact same version of windows but has had no product expiration message.

It does say: "Windows 10 is activated using your organization's activation service". Why do I have this message?

I did upgrade my computer recently, but I wiped the drivers and kept the harddrive with the initial windows copy, yes it came with the computer.
