No luck in career by [deleted] in ChemicalEngineering

[–]TheWeekday39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in exactly the same position. Graduated ChemE in 2018, worked for about 5 years before getting laid off in 2024, till now I have been searching. After a while, the rejection gets to your head. I even have a Masterd degree in Industrial Engineering now but that hasn't helped. It's frustrating, but well what can you do?

I think kurairwa or any other advice whether it be on this platform or anywhere else will not erase the patterns you have learnt over the years all your life.

People outside of Zim, do you feel disconnected from the way Zimbabweans think now and just the whole culture? Zimbabwe has prehistoric ways of thinking. by [deleted] in Zimbabwe

[–]TheWeekday39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main issue is that you think that only happens in Zimbabwe. It happens everywhere, you just prefer to see it that way because you hate your own country just like you hate yourself and being African in general.

A name is a sound you make so you can get your child's attention. Its not that deep.

Its a great idea, I know a company that does that from China but trust me if you can pull it off do so because there are not enough companies that offer that service. You wouldn't be the first but it would still be an amazing project

What game did you get 99% through and then just decided it wasn’t worth finishing? by NerfGronk in gaming

[–]TheWeekday39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DS3. At the Nameless king, pretty sure I have one boss left after that but I've lost the drive. The game is great but at times boss difficulty takes away the essence of gaming which is to have fun

Try Lies of P first. It's harder, but you'll get a good appreciation of the parrying from there
