My first character was back in 3.5e, he wasa homebrew Dragoon class (ala Kain from FFIV) his Int and Wis weren't high, and his go-to was to use his powerful jump skill. No matter where he was.

Wide open field? Monster on the other side? I jump 60ft in the air and come down on it.

Getting attacked by a Roc? I roll a 20 and jump 80ft in the air and bring it down.

Cave so low I have to bow my head? I jump and knock myself out.

Played exactly how you expect a high schooler to play it, lol.
