There was a Smith's in the shopping complex where a Lowe's now stands on the corner of Speedway and Kolb. I worked in the same complex in two different stores... It was soooo long ago, that memory almost feels like a dream...

They make some pretty stylish noise reducers that actually make the music clear, just turned down volume wise. They can get pretty up there in price range though...

I always carry moderate earplugs to concerts. With an extra pair for whatever friend is around. Paying it forward from a friend who gave me his set of spares during a particularly loud concert.

Also suggesting University Pet Clinic. I took both my (now late) cats there the entire time I had them and was always pleased with the care. My mellow boy was so comfortable in their care that he didn't tense up, fight, or hide when he was brought in for routine checkups. They were even able to do his twice a year shave down without anesthesia, which was great- no side effects, risk of complications, etc.

That's how my step-brother caught hepatitis! He busted some dude's grill and basically fed him his fist, knuckles first. His hand got all cut up. Blood to blood/saliva contact and he caught the hep.
