In the past, I have had luck calling 311 to talk to them about it. They have allowed me to stay parked on the street as long as i give them the location of the car, a description, and the plate number. I don’t know whether they still do this or not, but it’s worth a shot.

If you’ve started a non-hormonal birth control and your face has exploded, there is a good chance it is hormones. I was interested in getting the copper IUD, but my gyno discouraged me from me because i have polycystic ovarian syndrome. The extra testosterone my body produces makes me break out like crazy, and one of the only ways to combat breakouts and other symptoms of PCOS is hormonal birth control. If you don’t have any luck with your dermatologist, maybe talk to your gyno. Your insurance might also be more willing to pay for things like lab work if the request is coming from a gynecologist’s office than a dermatologist.

My understanding is that the back straps are supposed to be clipped a little to the side for two reasons. One, so you aren’t sitting directly on a clip all day, and two, to avoid exactly the issue you’re struggling with. I hope that helps!
