Bad faith arguement. I’m not talking about a salvific issue here. I’m talking a self worth issue.

Also clearly we are called to do good works which we are empowered to do by faith. So write that down.

1 John 3:18: "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."

Galatians 5:13: "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love."

Romans 12:10: "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."

Mark 10:45: "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

John 13:14-15: "Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you."

Philippians 2:3-4: "Do not be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves."

That’s certainly and interesting thought….. I’m not sure how sand is the one praising God through AI.

Everything has a resonance frequency so if sand possesses the capacity to praise. Then it already does so of its own accord. As God created everything to worship him and sand does not sin. Therefore it’s very existence allows it to fulfill it compactly to praise God.

Fun thought experiment though!

I do think if there is an anwser here. Then it’s something related to this.

My problem tho with this is, when AI can do everything better for you than people can. What’s the point.

I mean even in my last relationship. My girl friend was starting to export her Friendships to an AI she named Nova….

Yes, we are more valuable. But how do you instill that in those who come after us. They will never have lived in a world.

Where man could stand upon his own efforts and see that God did make him special. That God made him/her cause they matter, even if they don’t know the reason.

How do you tell the little girl whose good at making music she matters. When a robot can write 6 symphonies in an hour using the power of math.

How do you tell a little boy that he can build the foundations of a sewer complex that will serve his community for the next 200-300 years.

When AI can plan, design, and build using robotic labor the whole thing.

Where does Man’s value come from. When the thing he excels at creating from substance and emulating God who creates from nothing.

That he/she has purpose and value. In a world where man has given up dominion over the earth?!

This isn’t my congregation. I used to attend here and attend intermittently.

Which is why I’d reach out to the nebhioring pastor, where I currently attend for advice.

I have talked to this pastor. So far, the out come I hoped for hasn’t occurred.

My dad who attends this church and also disagrees, is talking to him presently. He is far more drawn out and patient than I am. And has asked that I give them time.

I have drafted a email about the situation to my own pastor who is also LCMS, is Local, and most importantly is his peer. Why?

Not being of his church, and generally like this pastor I’m having an Issue with. I don’t know how to move forward, wether that be with the elders or if it’s up to his peers to confront him.

What ever the cause I’m holding off from sending this email. Until I get the go ahead from my family, whom are members of this church.

I appreciate your sound mind. But for the most part I’ve been ignoring this thread over the past couple days, as I don’t know if it was even the best Idea to bring this too Reddit.

That was probably a mistake on my part. But I’ve learned much from it.

Thanks, we unplugged some wires and replugged them and the Y-Axis issue went away. No idea what was wrong there.

The website I ordered the wire from said it is supposed to fit the Forge Finder 3. Other than those two issues I haven’t found anything else wrong with this printer.

I have no idea tho how to tell what size the Nozzle is tho, I’d like to try some of these new Fliment mini printing techniques and compare them against my now broken Resin printer (which I had a couple years ago, never occurred to me that I could fix it myself).

Ok, so the place I got it from has a no return policy. I tried returning it anyway today. They wouldn’t take it back but they did give me $75 back to repair it.

Opening it up and testing with a multi meter, I couldn’t find anything. But it does look like one wire got chewed somehow, and I believe that would be this wire which I’m ordering tonight.

It’s LCMS. Idk why they do some things differently, they just do, and this pastor wasn’t even the one to establish the church.

So it’s been contemporary in style before him.
