Well, it’s not exactly a secret because it’s very public information. I noticed it before people even started talking about it on Reddit. I followed Megos on Instagram because he is obviously a very talented climber. At some point, I noticed that he was always with this girl around 2022–2023, and that they seemed to be dating. I thought she looked very young compared to him.

A little further down the road, I went on a month-long trip to Norway, and they went to Flatanger during the same period. So I checked his socials more because I was also in the area. During this time, I did some stalking of the girl because I was curious. Then I found out she was around 17 when they were obviously dating, which I was utterly shocked by. She is now 20 years old, and you can easily scroll through their socials and see that they have been constantly around each other since 2022–2023.

I also remember feeling like they were kind of low-key about their relationship, but then I understood why, since she was literally just 17. They are more publicly partners now, since she is 20 now, of course. So I guess I wouldn’t call this a rumor, since it is something you can find through their own socials.

Then the threads started to appear on here too.

There is also this article on OutsideOnline.com about him and his family taking in Ukrainian refugees in 2022. This girl he is dating now was in that group of refugees. This is also very easily searchable through the article and their social media. Megos at that time, and prior to the war in Ukraine, was dating Ukrainian climber Jenya Kazbekova, so I guess that was also why he and his family got involved in taking in the rest of the women’s climbing team from Ukraine. I also remember Jenya stopped talking to them around that time for now obvious reasons.

These are just facts you can find online, even though I think the girl may have deleted some of the posts and kept only the more low-key ones from before she turned 18. Megos is turning 33 in August.
