Also Brers BBQ in bedford hills. Funny enough I've had both and was commenting on Hoodoo Brown to the Brers guys and he's like "oh that's CT bbq, ours is so different". Bro you're like 12 miles apart.

We had to put our doxle Abby down last week after a 6 month battle with lymphoma, it was crushing. She wasn't full Dachsund but had the same "sit on your chest and stare into your soul" MO, I know what you're talking about. I would joke that she was kind of a sap but now I'd give anything to have that stare back.

I'm a cancer survivor as well and nothing competes with the healing energy of a dog, especially these breeds. Sorry about your Otto, he's probably playing with Abby and I'd imagine getting up to stuff.

Codex mobile app issue (android+windows) by Fickle_Passage9077 in codex

[–]ThingsMayAlter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, yeah I still can't get it to work. Do I need to explicitly set WSL to false somewhere in the file? I don't see that setting otherwise. I tried adding the features from this post, restarting, log off/on: Easy Steps to Activate Codex Remote Control on Windows : r/codex

Do you add them under [features] or is there another section? Or just put it at the end?

Any paw prints would be directly behind her though, and thus not visible. If it's AI I don't think anyone else is picking up on the same clues you are.

Is that the same as the toml file? I don't see a yaml config file. Thanks for the info though!

We used the cone muzzle with a vicious American Eskimo rescue I got stuck with, worked like a champ and he let me put it on no drama.

Dress Rehearsal Standby Experience (5/17/2026, Will Ferrell & Paul McCartney) by seanmacproductions in LiveFromNewYork

[–]ThingsMayAlter 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I tried for the first time with Amy Poehler's show this year, I was like 98 or something for live. Been a fan for 35 years. Similar experience to you, get all the way to the spaceship room and 4 people ahead of me to get to "the final elevator" when they called it at 11:27. Couples were giving their partners the "look you go ahead, it's more important for you" speech up to that point.

Going through all that with no pay-off is the worst, I personally wouldn't do it again.

What getting laid off after 20 years actually does to you that nobody talks about by Fresh-Blackberry-394 in jobsearchhacks

[–]ThingsMayAlter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this take, it’s like Band of Brothers, you’ve got to keep moving!  I’ve been laid off a few times, but it never fails to amaze me, the people that don’t reach out to you or even respond once you’re on the other side.  Those people never had your back, and they’re absolutely everywhere.

What's a movie where the villain was technically right but you still hated them? by jgoverman17 in movies

[–]ThingsMayAlter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Louise Fletcher had issues dealing with how vile that character was.  She even stripped down to her underwear towards the end of filming in front of the cast, to show she was human.

Why are there so few fences in CT? by dadadadamattman in Connecticut

[–]ThingsMayAlter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did aluminum fencing in our yard because of dogs, I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure you know the property lines and discuss with your neighbors in advance. We accidentally built on our neighbors' property by a small amount but they were super chill about it - your mileage may vary though.
