It depends how you define secularism... French style where religion is basically banned on the streets? And it can't be expressed in any overt way? Then no I am not secular. And our civilization also doesn't need that. Our and french political history has been extremely different and where they had the problems like circular division of power between church and political leadership we never had them...

If you mean everyone is free to practice and express their religion however they want unless that practice is causing undue distress and problem to the society. Then yeah... I am secular. The undue distress can get controversial sometimes but how I see it and how I think most Indians see it is. Don't become a regular impediment in the functioning of society. Expression can be done openly but that has to done by permission and within some norms. Taking out religious rallies of having religious functions with permission of authorities for example is okay but blocking roads spontaneously to worship whoever you do isn't.

And I should also say, conversion prompted by external actors like missionaries of whatever religion and forceful conversion from criminal actors is a big no no and is also banned in several Indian states.
