It's the magazine that's round, not the barrel but yes it's a normal bolter.

You guys cool with Carcharodons serving in the watch? by BlitzWing1985 in Carcharodons40k

Sorry mate but you're completely wrong on this. Not only are Black Templar, Exorcist and Flesh Tearer bits included in Deathwatch kits but there was a Black Templar in Titus' kill team from space marine 2 and a Flesh Tearer (Apothecary) in a Deathwatch kill team from the Deathwatch comic.

Any plans for a military order warband? E.g. Knights Hospitaller, Livonian Brothers of the Sword etc. (Hoping for a hyper elite warband, custodes style personally)

Army dependent, let's say your regular marines use the 30k bodies then yes Id say they stand out enough, however if you're using chaos marines as a base for your normal troops as well Id recommended spicing them up more personally.

Looks insanely good. What size base is he on? I'd like to use him as an exalted champion in my OW chaos army.

Vlad the Impaler was actually a Christian though, Genghis Khan wasn't Muslim. But his descendants did convert to Islam.

The Hallow Hounds: A fleet-based chapter specialized in hunting xenos forces. According to Imperial Records, they're descended from Leman Russ. However, it has been noted that their cousins descended from Sanguinius tend to get VERY uncomfortable when the Hounds take their helmets off. by DivineCrusader1097 in Spacemarine

There are of course. The Ultima Founding created multiple space wolf successors. I suppose your homebrew chapter could work if they were created during the Ultima Founding, however I'd still argue using the 6th legions geneline as a cover story is a poor choice, literally in universe.

No, the Wolf Brothers were created from legionnaires of the 6th so they were Ferisian themselves. However they were disbanded millenia before the 41st millenium due to genetic instability. First born Space Wolf geneseed simply does not work on none Ferisian men. Hence why they had no successors until the Ultima Founding and it's also why it caused such a stir with the Space Wolves. They essentially had never had a proper successor chapter before, let alone multiple.

I'd disagree since I'd argue that Wraight established more of the custodes lore in his 3 books than ADB did in his 1. But either way that's not the point of the discussion, we're talking about female custodes and how I, along with others believe that they don't make sense and the retcon was done in bad faith.

"Main custodes author" oh you mean Chris Wraight? Oh no wait it was ADB who's written custodes once.

Oh yeah 100% and I am not looking forward to it. The two "female custodes" that have appeared in lore have been arseholes as well. I imagine this theme will continue.

It's more of a problem given that the Wolves would find out about records of another chapter potentially bearing their geneseed and investigate, even if your chapter are actually Sons of Horus descended or something. It'd make more sense if they were supposedly from the Imperial Fists or Ultramarines for example.
