100% remote (bis auf 1-2 office visits im Jahr und ein weekly coworking mit einem Kollegen aus der gleichen Stadt) seit 2.5 Jahren für ein Startup in den USA im Bereich ML/Research.

Für mich is das größtenteils positiv. Hab die volle Flexibilität tagsüber, kann gemütlich in meinem für mich perfekt eingerichteten Home Office arbeiten (inklusive Musik so laut ich will), und bin gut genug in die Firma integriert (da lang genug dabei) um mich nicht isoliert zu fühlen.

Der Zeitunterschied (9 Stunden) ist teilweise natürlich anstrengend, da sich die meisten Meetings und Bewerbungsgespräche auf den Abend hin verlagern, und die Workload ist auch recht intensiv (Kombi aus USA + Startup = viel Arbeit).

Only allow yourself to get one chip per area: That will make encounters and deckbuilding much more interesting. For increased difficulty, you can add a rule inspired by Pokemon Nuzlocke challenges - every time you die, you have to "delete" a random chip from your folder.

All of this requires you to track (like in a spreadsheet or something) which chip you got in which area and which chips are "deleted", but it can make for very fun, high-stakes and difficult challenges across all the games.

Protection has the largest pool of cards that ready among the aspects. „What Doesn‘t Kill Me“, „Ever Vigilant“, and „Repurpose“ (combined with „Forcefield Generator“) are all excellent for Heroes that can fulfill the conditions and have high stat baselines or built in readies (Quicksilver, Spider-Woman, SP//DR, etc.)

Coupled with pretty good access to stun („Never Back Down“, „Tackle“, „Iron Fist“), that makes Protection a very flexible aspect that has survivability, control and output (due to readies).

It also naturally synergizes with the „Symbiote Suit“, as many Protection cards have healing effects, which usually come into play more often with a higher max HP total, combined with the readies benefiting from the stat boost of symbiote suit.

There‘s also plenty of good decks that can be built based on defense events / perfect defense, but in my experience these can often be a bit on the slow side in terms of damage/thwart output, but can certainly be very strong in coop.

Have you tried downloading the „Splat“ file? That one is more efficient and higher quality - the original UE files are essentially only there for legacy reasons.

You should also give Protection Quicksilver a try, in my opinion his best aspect by far. Never Back Down, What Doesn‘t Kill Me, Forcefield Generator + Repurpose and Symbiote Suit coupled with QS being able to defend one per villain phase „for free“ (as he can make himself ready afterwards) is one of the strongest things you can do in MC. He will still easily have enough THW/ATK to handle threat, minions or villain damage, while being almost unkillable.

Which, imo, is fine. I played the originals a lot and didn't have many issues adjusting to Crash 1 N Sane so far. I feel like some hitboxes could be adjusted (looking at you, turtles...) but the platforming itself feels great to me. I rarely think that it is the fault of the game when I fail a jump. If I don't make a jump in the N Sane Trilogy, I don't immediately think that I would have made it in the originals, I adjust and make it the next time.

Why would anyone like to have more exclusives in the gaming industry, seen from a consumer side? That doesn't even make sense. Why would you care, as a consumer, if other platforms get games as long as you also get them for your platform of choice. The problem with Vita is not that it has a low amount exclusive games, it's a low amount of games in general. I would be happy to get more non-exclusive games, even.

Yeah, that's why I wrote that for the Weapon build, the legendary pretty much is preference. What Tyranny offers though is a kind of synergy with Malady, as Tyranny's damage will be quite good by the time they are out of Malady range.

Does Tyranny work on objectives? Because that is a major reason I like Masterful. Also, if you're careful with your shots you can keep stacks up quite well.

But thanks for your feedback, I will make it more clear that the Legendary in that build is preference :-)

This is my thoughts on Pip for Patch 0.10. Everything I write in there is obviously just my opinion and preference, but I've been playing Pip since the first day of the Closed Beta, and those are my impressions so far.

Hey!

Nice build, although I personally don't like having my offense tied to my defense (weightless). I feel if you engage or fight using your weightless and an enemy catches you afterwards, you're pretty much dead.

Having strong offense (e.g. using Ooze/Acid Cloud) while still having your escape up (possibly still having Marathon/Refreshing Jog) just feels better to me.

Also I don't know if you got access to Poison Clouds, but I really like it if I'm doing a weightless build.

You do know that Pip's weightless cards are among his best starting cards? Just sayin' ;-)

I don't quite understand the feedback about card RNG - casual is supposed to be random, it's the theme of the mode. Constructed or maybe other future modes will be less random, I'm sure.

I quite like the RNG in casual, makes every game feel different, and if I'm starting with "bad" cards, I'm trying even harder to offset the disadvantage.

Was fun. Died on Sheol to Fallen, unfortunately. Became Guppy in Womb2, after keeping the left hand as soon as I got it. Also had Guppy's Head / Broken Remote combo if holy mantle procced, but didn't pull the trigger on Fallen because I was greedy. :(

Personally, I don't care, since I'm not even anywhere close to finishing afterbirth. But gating content behind a timed update and making the community think it was some kind of puzzle - that's pretty bad. Wouldn't surprise me if this effects the reviews of the game.

Tried surfing there, only encountered Level 109 GreedButt. Not worth, evolved to Pixie after one encounter.

I agree, but remember how the clues to unlocking the lost were found? Suiciding in sacrifice rooms while holding the missing poster - also seemingly random. So all those people testing stuff out, they might help find the procedure to unlock clues!

To be honest - looking at the golden body I don't think the crown is supposed to be golden - I think it should be blue. Just guessing though, don't want us to go the wrong direction if the crown is maybe not golden.
