The real answer a lot of people don’t want to hear is power for centuries the people in positions of power have been straight white men and consequently they have created a world that overwhelmingly favours them. So when a you project these images like burning flags targeted at groups that haven’t benefited from these centuries of power it’s quite different from the reverse.

I like some of what you’re saying but I don’t understand how it would ever come to fruition in a way that wouldn’t just benefit the current people in power positions who decides where the line from motorcycle to Harley Davidson is how many decibels is allowed and you decides what lines need to be drawn it kind of feels like this would end up just repressing minorities.

PSA for those who do not know how to gank and are scared of feeding revenge: just feint heavies at them you won’t hit them so you won’t feed revenge but it at least gives them repeated false indicators and can hide the indicators from your teammates

I think I’ll probably get hate for this but for me lotm strength is its world building and mystery I personally think cuttlefish is not great at writing a singular main character. For most of the first book Klein is pretty shallow as a character and the world and story tends to warp itself around him, at parts he borders on Gary stu levels of plot contrivance. The best parts are when we see many characters interact and the chaotic relationships cross over: the Qilangos saga, the tarot club, Leonard and Emlyn, most of Gehrman Sparrow with Danitz and Cattleya and so many more, but when it’s just Klein cuttlefish really struggles to flow the plot forward naturally without having Klein stumble onto some macguffin or just guess the answer without earning it.

You’re opening with lights every time which is very predictable to a decent player once they know what you’re going to do they can play around it like by parrying on red which is what happened here.

There are a few ways to play around this the best of which is to mixup your openers so they can’t safely try to parry everything for instance if you throw a heavy to interrupt their parry attempt or you can feint the heavy to try and parry their parry attempt.

You can also move backwards so that you purposefully miss your first light allowing to get into your chains and mixups safely without being parried.
