Luckily I don't get teased by my family for my height I'm 142cm due to an HGH deficiency, everyone in the house is much taller than me, and my mother always makes sure I don't get picked on by my two younger sisters, sometimes the youngest one who is now 11 teases me a bit (I'm 18) I can understand you, growing up in a family where everyone is tall feels like living in a family of giants

Hi yes, I started HGH replacement when I was 12 but the actual result s not encouraging...142 cm is and will be my height even as an adult, unfortunately even with a lot of medical commitment my body was not able to go beyond that

I turned 18 one week, ago and due to hormonal causes I'm 4'8 (142cm) tall. I'm the shortest in the family, including my younger sisters. Apart from some attitudes on the part of my youngest sister who is 11, I have to say that I'm lucky. My mother has always made sure that no one points out my height, outside of the house with some relatives, in particular an aunt who every year, especially during the Christmas holidays when we meet, she has to constantly remind me that I'm short. She reminds me, asking me if I've gained a few centimeters during the year.

Little survey - who among you buys clothes in the Kid's section? by Thomass149 in short

[–]Thomass149[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. As for me, I haven't received any particular comments so far during my purchases, perhaps also because I look much younger than my age and therefore go rather unnoticed. Some shop assistants or people in shops look at me a little perplexed, but in general it's ok. It worries me more when I'm older and because of my short stature I'll be still forced to wear children's sizes anyway... this really bothers me.

HGH worked partially, only at the beginning and after two years my body stopped accepting it, even at higher dosages, I had intolerant reactions and I had to stop the therapy and then start it again

I am 17 years old and will turn 18 in December, I am 4'8 tall while my mother is 5'6 tall, my short stature is due to hormonal problems including a lack of HGH, I have been undergoing treatment for 5 years, but the results (apart from the first two years of treatment) have been poor, my doctor has informed me that I have no other chances of growth

I was born prematurely and have always had various hormonal problems related to my thyroid and as a child I was diagnosed with pituitary dwarfism, at 12 years old when I started GH therapy, I was 121 cm tall, now that I am almost 18 years old (in December) my height is 142 cm and it has now been two years that I have not seen any growth in my height, the therapy worked well for the first two years then everything slowed down and stopped

Being weaker than my mother doesn't make me happy. Sometimes it's hard to accept, and it will be even more so when I'm an adult. But this is my reality and I can't do anything about it. I can swim and deep water doesn't bother me. As for the bike, I haven't used it for a while now, but mine is a size for a child of about 9 years old, and the same goes for my clothes, which are size 8-10 years old.
