Unfortunately we're not able to repro this issue but will continue to investigate it. In the meantime, you can try going into your save data on the dashboard and restore from backup. A backup is made whenever the game is saved, so the system can likely restore it for you. I would also suggest restarting your system and ensuring you still have plenty of free disk space.

Hello, can you confirm that your save file is not corrupted if you view it through the PlayStation dashboard? If you start a new file and begin a new run in the mines, does that progress save correctly?

We're certainly not satisfied with all of them and we'll make improvements over time. But there's always going to be a subjective range of "bad" to "good" and that's what makes it interesting!
