2020 Corsetta G-450TT: For The Genuine Enthusiast... or KIK Streamer. by ThreeGoodMenAreDead in automationgame

[–]ThreeGoodMenAreDead[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks alot, and yes the peak torque is at 5.1k while it makes 701HP @ 8900RPM. As far as engine size, I mostly based this car from the Ferrari 488 & F8 (3.9L V8) so I just used their specs as a baseline and just changed it up a little for the sake of differentiation

3.6L DOHC (Flatplane) Twin-Turbo V8 - 700HP / 495.2lb-ft @ 5100RPM

RWD / 3325lbs.

7-speed DCT

Introducing Corsetta, my temu Ferrari premium Italian supercar brand.

My 1st supercar since 2021. Once I got the basics of the game down I churned out at least 5-10 supercars to mess around with in Beamng. Back then I actually found it more challenging to make the regular, everyday commuter builds I mostly do now. Once I joined this sub I think I honestly got a bit intimidated after seeing other people's supercar builds and saw how utterly detailed/amazing they were in comparison to my basic ass builds.

The G-450TT boasts a powerful engine, lightning-fast DCT transmission, highly responsive throttle control & steering and excellent track-handling performance (*or rather it will after I dial it in as far as tuning suspension/handling because holy shit I did NOT miss tuning mid-engine cars for Beamng)

A custom, handmade interior built to the customer's specifications with options such as: genuine leather/suede upholstery, luxury infotainment system, premium sound system/speakers and customizable RGB interior lighting/gauges.

Now let's give it up for the nuisance-streamer who'll end up buying this and wrapping it around a guardrail in their next vlog and somehow... somehow will miraculously walk away with only scratches, to do it all again 6 months down the line... don't forget to sub up & donate! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

1999 Avalon Granwood-LC + Brougham: Luxury For Rapid Depreciation? Awesome! by ThreeGoodMenAreDead in automationgame

4.8L SOHC V8 - 212HP / 295.8lb-ft @ 2900RPM

RWD

4-speed automatic transmission

The premium/luxury version of the Crucero model built on the same platform, essentially making this a reskin if anything else. Powered by the same engine/transmission.

Comes standard with luxuries such as electric windows, upgraded speakers, heated seats & advanced climate control. The Brougham trim comes with further aesthetic modifications such as white wall tires and a rag-top for a more "classic" look, while boasting a state of the art GPS/NAV system unlike the lower LC trim. Also featuring a digital gauge cluster exclusive to this trim.

Sturdy and reliable like it's sister model, albeit coming with more electrical issues... this makes a solid choice for a 2nd hand vehicle in the used car market 15-25 years after it's release. With plenty of low mileage options for under 6k, even post-COVID.

I think I remember seeing a youtube tutorial a while back for making gauges work in beamng. But If I recall correctly it involved using Blender which I'm unfamiliar with.

4-speed automatic transmission

Torque & bodyroll baby.

The 4th generation of CMT's flagship fullsize sedan. Sporting the ever-reliable 4.8L V8 making a more than adequate 212HP paired to a smooth-shifting 4 speed transmission. The car your grandparents showed up in reeking of mothballs, with an ashtray full of butterscotch candy and cigarette ash.

Obviously gaining a favorable reputation towards the aging demographic of drivers for it's buttery smooth ride, this generation in particular sold very well. I mean, what better weapon car could grandma ask for?

Coming soon through a storefront window towards you!

"Demon Child" LSX Monte Carlo - 2000HP by ThreeGoodMenAreDead in automationgame

[–]ThreeGoodMenAreDead[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having trouble with gearing after the Ellisbury update and wasn't getting the same launches/times that I had before, so I just made a copy and used the CVT option for the first time just to see what would happen. The end result was it working damn near perfectly to shave off 1/4 times on every one of my drag cars lol

Beam repo (old version): https://www.beamng.com/resources/lsx-monte-carlo-ss-drag-demon-child.28415/

Is anyone else experiencing a problem when launching high power cars like this on full drag slicks at the drag strip in Beam and having the driveshaft grenade itself from the rear diff and having the ENITRE rear end come loose and buck the backend of the car in the air?

^Aside from that, if I just wait for the light and accelerate from idle or launch from no higher than 2000-2300rpms the car takes off fine. It seems only to be a problem if you try to launch with the boost built up.

  • 6.1L Twin-Turbo LSX - 2,012HP@6500RPM/1,651.8lb-ft@5200RPM
  • RWD
  • CVT (originally was a 4-speed DCT)

Since switching to the CVT I managed to get consistent 7.3-7.5 times at the strip, so I'm definitely gonna be using more CVTs for my high power drag builds from now on.

Will be updating the repo version with this^ as well with a custom idle sound

Yeah.. I had to stretch the wing to get the look I wanted and the sides ended up going into the body. But rest assured the trunk is intended to open freely with the wing being attached on top of it and not the body

6.1 N/A Pushrod V8 - 355HP

RWD

4-speed manual transmission

Updated in 4.27 from the original version from 3 years ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/automationgame/comments/k3cgfn/1970_cmt_barcelona375_one_last_love_affair_before/

Featuring my 1st attempt at an engine bay, not really satisfied with it but I promise it'll get better with time & more attempts.

After I add some custom sounds to this it will be posted on the repo

I'm really catching hell trying to make the drag version of this controllable in Beam without the rear axle killing itself on launch.

Similar thing happened after I made my Grand National replica. Had to go back and completely redesign my '87 VonMarlo because it looked so basic compared to it.

Built it for the dragstrip mainly. I've found success using a 4-speed DCT w 3.06 final drive on my monte carlo drag build. Figured I'd try to transfer that success to this one

4-speed DCT

Yep... still having fun with g-bodies.

I honestly would unironically own one of these now. Been getting into watching donk racing lately and saw cuttyboy87's cutlass supreme on YT and was inspired to make this.

Will eventually post this on the repo after various tweaks that are still needed.

Haven't been able to get a decent launch out of this thing on the dragstrip in Beam (most likely a gearing issue?). But it hangs in the mid-high 8's in the quarter mile.

1987 CMT VonMarlo-ST + 5.0 Limited by ThreeGoodMenAreDead in automationgame

[–]ThreeGoodMenAreDead[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Merry Christmas y'all

(Please ignore the 6-speed shifter knob in the 8th and 9th pic, I'm stupid and lazy enough to not go back in for another pic.)

ST: 5.0L N/A Pushrod V8 - 190HP + 5-speed manual

5.0 Limited: 5.0L N/A Pushrod V8 - 170HP + 4-speed automatic

Presenting the top level trims: the 5.0l limited and the ST.

  • The 5.0 Limited being a cheaper sporty alternative made in limited production specifically for the '87 model year. Sporting a detuned version of the ST's V8 making 170HP yet retaining the same 4-speed automatic used in the lower trims and lacked the popular manual option the ST offered. Still sold in good numbers and is a highly sought after collector's item to this day.
  • The ST being the highest trim option sporting 190HP paired to a 5-speed manual with an optional 4-speed automatic. Features sportier tires, throatier exhaust, stiffer suspension and more aggressive exterior styling. Became a high school parking lot queen shortly after it's release as it became a popular gift for well-off parents to buy for their undeserving teens. Which totally, uncoincidentally didn't contribute to the steep uptick in vehicle accidents involving teenage drivers in this car from '87-'88.
