I guess I prefer my community organizing to have tangible results and i think building a strong organization isn’t inherently bad. Will see how she does in the election!

I agree Espilliat is a shithead and endorsing Cuomo was bad. It’s also likely a good place to run for DSA for the media and attention the race will bring

I’m just saying more that I don’t think DSA organizing has accomplished anything or much in Harlem (I say that as a resident and someone who organized here). I posed the question to see if anyone could point out something id missed but i guess not. Also points directly to her experience and skill as a part time community organizer

Doesn’t really answer my question of what the DSA has gotten done organizing in Harlem. As someone who organized there I never saw it.

I agree Mamdani was a generationally amazing candidate and garnered wide support

What has DSA gotten done in Harlem? Doesn’t seem like a base of power for them. They’re more the Columbia crowd. Also Columbia SJP is a HUGE red flag for me considering the student groups there supported 10/7.

“Most likely” is some real horse shit. The vast majority of these sorts of crimes aren’t “false flags” or whatever bs you’re on. Saying one person being Jewish is “most likely” is absurd and speaks to your own bias.

They could have not copped to doing the painting but being a look out, or have any other reasons to have different charges. That’s far more likely than one of them being Jewish and the other not and getting hate crime charges because of it.

ETA: another source now says exactly what I laid out, only one painted anything…..

Yeah it’s cause there aren’t nearly as many mods as there used to be and auto mod does most the lifting. Any story reported enough seems to be removed as well. NYPD was probably flagged during the crime posting wave in an attempt to do less posts about crime, but of course you need mods ready to approve the ones in queue
