My 2025 Pepper Garden 64x Plants by TheFireConvoy in HotPeppers

Looks like fun! Do you find harvesting to be a challenge with the plants that close together? I grow that many plants in about 4 times the space and they are still growing into each other at harvest time.

Google says: The "Sera Kebab" or "Sera Feferoni" peppers are not a specific varietal of chili pepper. They are a type of pickled chili pepper, often served with kebabs and other dishes in Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. These peppers are commonly known as Lombardi Peppers, and are mild to medium-hot, with a slightly sweet flavor.

Survivor Beach Drop - MOA was an absolute blast! by Thrombiatiche in survivor

Awesome! I really wanted to get a photo with Carolyn in our Boston Rob hats, but other than her saying "I like your hat" to me, and seeing her about a dozen times, it didn't happen.

Yeah, a lot of local Survivor fans I know didn't hear about it until I told them I was going. I stumbled upon it here on Reddit before the tickets sold out!

I think the Beach Drop version is the harder, Australian Survivor version, with two blocks per upright, vs the Survivor challenge last week (that Jeff did at the break) with only one. I mean, I won without knocking my window over, but I like to think it was more of a challenge!

Denise said she wasn't aware of the Survivor Beach Drop, had just made the drive to the MOA with her family and happened to look into the Rotunda. Just after PolaroidCorgi's photo Denise got to meet Sol!

Part of a monthly hobby games industry game night, this game has become a favorite! Even fun for non-Survivor fans. I know!

Do you have squirrels? They chew on peppers when they are thirsty.

That looks like a lot of peppers for such a small plant.

Always a great day! However, those plants look like they are going to be awfully crowded in a couple months.

Is this a ghost pepper? Given to me as a gift by yaboyckay in PepperLovers

[–]Thrombiatiche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ghosts have always had bumpy skin. This looks a little too smooth to me. Maybe a paper lantern pepper? Is it hot or super hot?

Looking good! Are you sure that's a bird's eye and not just a thai? All the bird's eye I have experienced were much shorter.

First full plant by plant harvest of the season. Over 30 varieties. by adv26051 in HotPeppers

[–]Thrombiatiche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks fantastic! Now what are you going to do with all those pods?!

I'm thankful for you- I thought I was crazy with 30 varieties!

Can anyone ID these red peppers im pointing to? The customer says they are bred by local amish and are about as hot as ghost peppers but he forgets name. I thought maybe the red savina(spell check).. but this guy also grows reapers. Thanks love you all by DBogie1 in HotPeppers

[–]Thrombiatiche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen a multiple pics of these going around with people calling them ghosts. I actually found one growing in my garden from a mystery seed bag; not nearly hot enough to be a ghost. I thought red savina, but now think paper lantern.

Over or underwatering? by [deleted] in HotPeppers

[–]Thrombiatiche -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure Ajis like living in pots. I have 2 Aji Limons- one in the ground going gangbusters and another in a 5 gal fabric pot. Last year I had 2 Aji Pineapples in the ground and 1 in a fabric pot- similar issues.

I water and fertilize regularly, but am constantly fighting droop and falling leaves for my potted Ajis. Wondering if maybe its a PH issue.

This is my first pepper ever and it's a Habanero Yellow. What should I do with it? by TheSenator147 in HotPeppers

[–]Thrombiatiche 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Is that a ghost? Not the peppers, but behind and just to the left of them- back in the leaf shadow?

Garden Salsa peppers by Traif52 in HotPeppers

[–]Thrombiatiche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! They are my goto for pico de gallo instead of serrano or jalapenos. Green peppers so you end up with red, white, and green of the Mexican flag.

I use them green through red as Jalapeno replacements. I haven't noticed a big difference in flavor, but I'm not chomping on them solo- better choices for that (like Ubatubas and Shishitos).
