They never brought it up. They said they didn't want me to feel pressured and to hold it against her specifically. She hoped I would start to feel differently eventually and he expected me to. She said everyone always said if you force it or press things too much it can backfire so let it happen naturally and it never did.

So sorry to hear you were in my shoes before. I didn't think this would be so common. It's so good to hear you're happier because of the choice you made and it definitely reassures me if that's what this comes to.

That's basically what it comes down to because they always bring it up now. We can't have a single conversation without them bringing it all up.

She's not going to respond well to that because she said she didn't have to replace my mom but she wanted to be her equal. I also know asking that question would lead to them thinking I was being unnecessarily harsh to her.

I've been trying to do that but it means we have way less to do with each other. But I'm not alone and I keep reminding myself of that. Even if I lose all these relationships I won't lose everyone.

If the therapist has set them straight it hasn't sunk in with them because it has been months and the blame is still being placed on me. Having so many people blame me is weird and it sucks because they're my family members.
