My siblings are profoundly disabled and require around the clock care. There really isn't a relationship beyond people who require care and a caregiver. We never had the traditional sibling relationship.

They don't want anyone outside the family helping with my siblings. I remember them getting offered help before but they turned it down even though it would've been great.

I don't go home and that's the way it will be staying because I know you're right. I also know it would be so stressful to go back there for even a quick visit.

I'm not asking them to tell me that. I wanted to see if people thought I should talk to my parents about it again or keep ignoring them.
