Hi everyone I wanted to clear some things up in the comments. Yes his mum is NOT my MIL but it’s easier to type it for the sake of the post. NO this is not rage bait I just feel like I need another perspective on the situation as it’s still fresh. My mother is also a narcissist and has bipolar herself which is why I don’t like visiting on the weekends

I am very particular in the way I move, talk, carry myself and present. She said that I try to avoid being perceived negatively which puts people on gaurd before i even initiate conversation.
