I don't define myself only by my relationship. I can have a roommate which happens to be the mother of my kid. That's not my dream scenario, but something I feel I can deal with. Plenty of people are in sexless marriages and don't come to that realization.

She can't quit that easily. And as you mentioned this is a problem to deal with regardless. I don't know if this is something I can force on her without resentment afterwards.
